🐎 Let’s talk foot balance…
One of the most overlooked (but most important) parts of your horse’s wellbeing 👇

These two photos are the same horse’s foot
just 6 months apart… and the difference speaks volumes. See attached.

✨ What does that mean?
Better movement, less strain, and a much happier, more comfortable horse.
Good farriery isn’t just about trimming feet it’s about supporting the entire horse from the ground up.

I’ve been on a real journey with Marco’s feet, and it just shows how much can change with the right approach and consistency 🙌

This is not about good or bad farriers or Vets, it's about having the right team of professionals working together at the same time in the same place.

The Horse’s Poll Quick Facts.
The poll is the spot just behind the ears, where the skull meets the first neck bone the atlas.
It controls the “yes” movement (up and down), not the turning.

It’s super sensitive tiny pressure = big reaction

A tight poll = tight back and this can affects the whole horse.

Often linked to resistance, head tossing, or tension

The poll should be the highest, softest point in correct work.

Poor bridle fit or incorrect training can easily cause poll discomfort.

A soft poll usually means a relaxed, working horse a tight one tells you something’s not right.

🐎 Horse Fun Fact of the Day
A horse’s heart weighs around 4–5 kg and can pump up to 75 litres of blood per minute during intense exercise.
That’s one of the reasons horses have such incredible stamina. 💪
