Ear Care Warning ⚠️

Recent BBC News coverage has highlighted the serious risks of ear wax removal carried out by unqualified or poorly trained individuals.

Ear wax removal is a clinical procedure, and when done incorrectly it can lead to:

• Perforated eardrums
• Infections
• Hearing loss
• Ongoing pain or dizziness

Some patients have required hospital treatment following unsafe procedures.
