PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST/CARE NAVIGATOR

We are looking to recruit an additional medical receptionist to join our busy town centre GP Practice for 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, dynamic team player, remaining calm under pressure, who offers a polite and professional service to our patients.

20 HOURS PER WEEK
Monday: 8.00am-1.00pm
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 1.30pm-6.30pm

NHS and SystemOne experience desirable. However, full training will be given. Must be computer literate and flexible to cover holidays and occasional Saturday mornings.

Good morning,

Please be aware we are currently four clinicians down today due to staff illness, this means we have less same day appointments to offer than usual.

Our team is very busy contacting patients whose appointments have been affected as well as managing the usual workload. This means there will be longer call queues throughout this period. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, please remember this is out of our receptionists control.

If you have a non-urgent request please consider calling later in the week, or using our online consultation tool, eConsult (see our website).

Remember that our local pharmacies can deal with minor illnesses such as sinusitis, sore throats, urinary tract infections.
