I always find a silver lining in every day, every situation but even I am struggling with this decision - turned down for funding a quality, informative nutrition education project that will support Public Health and the obesity crisis. But hey, if they've got that covered and will succeed in eradicating childhood obesity in 20 years' time then I'm eager to see it happen.
I'll continue to offer my free services and do my bit whether it gets recognised or not ❤️💚

Working with the amazing One Place East on an important project, delivering accessible Cancer Health Champion training to a diverse team, giving them the confidence to speak to groups about all aspects of cancer - got some webinars in the New Year too - free to book on! 👇👇

Welcome to October, the start of Women's Health Awareness (don't worry boys, November is for you!) Had Havering lovely to see you all!!! ❤️🍲

Thank you SA Nutrition & Happilife CIC for a lovely afternoon at Had Havering.
Our clients enjoyed a delicious homemade soup with a bread roll, took part in a fun games, and gained lots of useful tips for healthier eating.
We're already looking forward to your next visit! 💚

On my way out to the 6th and final education session of the week (with soup for 15 today!)
What a week! So far I have trained, informed and educated 59 beautiful people, over 5 sessions in 5 Havering venues and it's been amazing but exhausting. Logging off later for a long weekend....🚫 no work calls, emails or messages 😊

It's 'Know Your Numbers' week so we have been super busy around Havering, helping people with Blood Pressure readings, health screening and good quality education sessions. Your health is vital to you, get to know it better!
