Spring Garden Painting Session. Booking essential
Where calm returns, clarity rises, and your nervous system can finally exhale.

Life can pull us in a hundred directions at once. Overwhelm builds quietly, stress settles into the body, and clarity slips away.

On Saturday morning at Nexus in Holywell, we’ll be creating a gentle space to slow down and reconnect through painting. We’ll be working on canvas, exploring a spring garden scene with simple guidance and time to find your own flow.

When your hands are busy, your mind can rest. People often notice their breath deepen, their shoulders soften, and a sense of calm begin to return.

You don’t need to be artistic. Just a willingness to show up as you are.

10:30–12:30
All materials provided
You’ll leave with your own finished canvas

A quiet, creative pause in your week.

There’s something about spring that invites us to begin again.

On Saturday morning, we’ll be gathering at Nexus Creative Spaces for a relaxed, creative session inspired by the colours, softness and quiet beauty of a spring garden.

Working on canvas, you’ll be gently guided through painting techniques using acrylics, helping you build your own interpretation of a spring scene — full of colour, light and life.

This isn’t about getting it right.

It’s about giving yourself the space to slow down, explore and enjoy the process of creating something with your own hands.

You’ll be supported throughout, whether you’re completely new to painting or returning to it after some time.

There’s always a moment in these sessions where things begin to settle — your focus shifts, your mind quietens, and something starts to flow.

And at the end, you’ll leave with a finished canvas you’ve created yourself.

Join us next month to paint the river

I had a fantastic evening at a Creative Wellbeing Art Session - Which is a monthly art practice for health, relaxation & community 🙂.

Each month we do something different - last month we painted eye inspired art - remember my photos? I'll add it below for you to see.

You don't have to be good at art... You don't need any previous experience or even to consider yourself a creative person.

Art and creativity is so good for our health and wellbeing.

I always take so much away from my classes with Jay Decor with Wingnut Creations - so much more than the art I created. Such a wonderful evening - check out Arts for Health and Wellbeing CIC - there's amazing things to come.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be running a series of small, welcoming creative sessions in different community spaces around the area. They are relaxed, supportive and open to anyone curious about exploring creativity again.
No experience is needed.
Just a willingness to sit down, try something new and see what happens.
Many people come for a bit of “me time”.
Others come to meet people in the community.
Some come simply because they feel curious.
Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome.
If you’d like to join one of the upcoming sessions you can see the details and book here:

"Creativity is not a talent. We are all, by default of being human - creative. Creative energy can be resourced and developed by experiment and practice. It is a process. Just like driving a car or riding a bike - and once you locate your skill... you will have it forever." I look forward to sharing...
