What We Do for You:

Handling First Calls:
We can manage initial inquiries and communications, providing a professional and empathetic first point of contact for families. Collection of the Deceased:
We handle transportation from hospitals, homes, or other locations, ensuring the deceased is treated with care and dignity. Care of the Deceased:
Our team can take care of the deceased, including professional body preparation and hygienic care. In-house Embalming:
We offer embalming services conducted by qualified professionals to ensure preservation and presentation are in line with families' wishes. Dressing the Deceased:
We will dress the deceased in clothing provided by the family or in suitable garments. Coffin Supply: We provide a range of coffins to suit different preferences and budgets. Placing in the Coffin:
We will ensure the deceased is placed in the coffin with respect and care. Name Plate:
Personalized nameplates can be supplied to mark the coffin, honoring the identity of the deceased. Supply Oak Cross:
An oak cross can be provided as a lasting tribute to the deceased, either for burial or as a keepsake for the family.

Important Update: New Mortuary Collection Rules in and around London
Due to new operational rules being introduced at hospital mortuaries across London and surrounding areas, mortuary staff will no longer assist undertakers during the collection of the deceased.
Effective immediately, funeral directors must attend with a minimum of two members of staff when collecting from any hospital mortuary.
If only one member of staff attends, the mortuary may refuse to release the deceased.
💼 Support from LCK Funeral Support Services
To support independent and family-run funeral directors, LCK Funeral Support Services will provide collection services from hospital mortuaries at a reduced rate.
Funeral directors who prefer to use our facilities may then collect the deceased with one member of staff only from one of our bases:
HP3 8EW (Hemel Hempstead area)
UB4 9EY (Hayes, West London)
This service ensures compliance with the new mortuary regulations while helping to reduce staffing pressures and costs for smaller funeral firms.

This week, our team was honoured to carry out the burial of a bariatric gentleman, weighing 367kg.

After learning that no crematorium in the UK could accommodate him — and following multiple funeral directors declining the case — we were approached to assist. We took on the responsibility with determination, compassion, and care.

Using our Luton van and a full team of 10 bearers, we managed a complex and physically demanding funeral, ensuring that everything was carried out with the utmost dignity and respect.

At LCK Funeral Support Services, we believe that every individual deserves a respectful and tailored farewell — no matter the challenges. We are proud to be the team that finds a way when others cannot.
