A little information about our service charge........

All supported living complexes have service charges, even council owned premises, and basically, you get what you pay for.

Don't get me wrong, if you don't need the peace of mind knowing that immediate help is at hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, then Minster Court isn't the place for you, as most of the service charge is used to pay for staff.

Minster Court isn't a care home. You will likely pay Β£1300 PER WEEK in a care home.

Minster Court is registered with CQC and has a good rating. Minster Court delivers domiciliary care.

There is also financial assistance available that will help towards the service charge, which the staff at Minster Court will help you apply for.

The service charge is Β£696.85 per month.

For this, you get -

🌟 24-hour staff that will respond immediately should you have a fall or have an accident, incident, or event. You can not put a price on peace of mind.

🌟 A Duty Manager available from 0700 - 21.30, who is there to help you with, well, almost anything. After 21.30, there is still a member of staff on site but are there to respond to emergencies.

🌟 1.5 hours per week cleaning of your apartment.

🌟 Building insurance.

🌟 Window cleaning.

🌟 Maintenance of our lovely gardens and building.

🌟 Cleaning of communal areas.

🌟 Unlimited free tea/coffee.

🌟 An amazing restaurant, where you can order a one, two, or three course lunch, with table service (the cost of the meal is not part of the service charge).

🌟 24-hour security system. Electronic gates which close at 7pm - 7am. Entry is then gained via intercom system.

🌟 Owners have a share at Minster Court and a say in the running of the Court. Minster Court is a not for profit community.

If you are struggling at home, then come and have a look at what Minster Court can deliver. Don't wait until it is too late.

There are two lifts, so there is easy access to all floors, the apartments are amazing, and you are free to do whatever you want to do, or not do, as the case may be.

Studies indicate that high-quality care and support, whether in supported living or other settings, can positively impact health and wellbeing, potentially leading to a longer, healthier life. πŸ’š
