Not just for the children starting in Reception, 6 weeks is a long time off without the daily routine of school for all children. I hope this week is enjoyable and children settle in well to their new year groups 😊

Hi everyone, so there’s only one week left until the 6 weeks holiday! Where has this year gone?

I am opening up some morning slots during the first 5 weeks of the holidays.

Have you received your child’s end of year report? I can work on their targets helping to best prepare them for the next academic year.

Want to give your child a head start in maths for the next academic year ahead? Then please get in touch.

I will be offering sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. I will post my availability over the weekend.

It has been a lovely first week getting to know my new students and starting their initial assessments to see what we are going to be working on. I am looking forward to seeing more of you next week ☺️

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, currently working in a school in Sutton Coldfield.

I am very devoted to ensure your child receives the best possible support, whether that be for a particular subject or skill they are finding difficult to master.

I have a particular love for teaching reading and phonics. Reading is so important and through practical and engaging lesson I strive to promote a love of reading for all my students.

I do however, cater for all subjects in the primary curriculum including maths and science.

My approach to teaching and learning is about motivating and inspiring children. I firmly believe in using a child's interest to help them engage in learning.

I am able to bring along practical resources, schemes of work, mock exams such as KS1 SATS and the phonics check and a range of books. Please feel free to ask me about any particular questions or topics.

On our initial first meeting I provide an informal assessment so I can see what we are going to work on. I continually assess students to ensure I'm covering everything.
�Lessons are relaxed and fun but we get lots done! I think it's really important to adapt to different students' ways of learning, so I understand that one technique doesn't suit everyone.
