The message? Talk to your GP if you are a male with urinary symptoms or have a family history of a first degree relative with prostate cancer.

Your GP may offer you a prostate re**al exam, but this is not essential- so don’t let this put you off. When referred to a specialist, you will usually be offered an MRI scan first, which is a non-invasive test.
