Today we celebrate the patron saint of Cornwall and everything that makes this place so special — the community, the coastline, the resilience, and the pride of the people who call it home.

St Piran’s flag flying high reminds us where we come from and the strength that comes from standing together.

✨ Relaxation with Victoria | Yoga Nidra is BACK ✨

Our monthly Yoga Nidra returns to the MOR Studio.
And if you’ve never experienced it before, this is your sign.

🧠 What is it?

Yoga Nidra (often called “yogic sleep”) is a guided meditation where you lie comfortably and are led into a deeply restorative state between wakefulness and sleep. No movement. No pressure. Just intentional rest.

💛 Why is it so good for you?

Because most of us are exhausted… but wired.

Yoga Nidra can:

• Calm a busy, overstimulated nervous system
• Improve sleep quality
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Support hormone balance
• Enhance focus and emotional regulation
• Leave you feeling deeply rested (like hours of sleep in one session)

This is nervous system medicine.
The kind we rarely prioritise.

Nope. You join because you want to get fitter. Every single strong, confident person you see in a gym once walked in unsure.

❌ “Cardio is the only way to lose weight.”
Cardio has its place. But strength training builds muscle, supports hormones, protects bone health and improves long-term metabolism. Health is more than just sweating.

❌ “Weights make women bulky.”

Vinyasa is often described as a flow style of yoga. Movements are linked together through breath, creating a continuous, dynamic sequence.

What if this time… it sticks?

What if this isn’t another false start.
Another Monday.
Another “I’ll try again next month.”

What if this time it sticks… because the environment is different?

At MOR, it’s not about willpower.
It’s not about punishment.
And it’s definitely not about shrinking yourself.

It’s about creating a space where people feel:

• Safe to walk in, even when confidence is low
• Safe to lift weights without judgement
• Safe to modify movements
• Safe to say, “I’m struggling today”

Because when people feel safe, they stay.

There are no egos in the room.

You begin… and then you get fit. 🤍

Somewhere along the way, people were made to believe they need to “get in shape” before walking into a gym.

Stronger first.
Fitter first.
More confident first.

That’s not how this works.

You walk through the door exactly as you are.
Tired.
Nervous.
Out of routine.
Starting again.

And from there… we build.

At MOR, no one is expected to be the fittest in the room.
No one is expected to lift the heaviest.
No one is expected to “keep up.”

You’re coached.
You’re supported.
You’re met where you are.

Fitness isn’t a prerequisite.
It’s the outcome.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence waiting to feel “ready”… this is your reminder.
