💙 Beat the January Blues – MOR Style 💙

This weekend we came together for our Beat the January Blues Social, and it was everything we hoped for and more.

January can feel heavy. Routines, dark mornings, busy lives. That’s exactly why moments like this matter.

Bringing our community together — with their children — outside of the normal timetable gives us space to connect as humans, not just as people ticking off workouts.

We added our MOR twist with an optional fancy dress theme, lots of laughter, and the kind of fun that reminds you why community matters.

We shared incredible food, lovingly made by some of our coaches and members (honestly, you outdid yourselves 🤍), and finished the morning in true MOR fashion with kangaroo sumo boxing and a rodeo sheep — because why not?

These moments are about more than fitness.

They’re about belonging.
They’re about feeling seen.
They’re about kids running around, adults laughing, and everyone leaving a little lighter than when they arrived.

We are more than a training facility.
We are a community.
A safe space.

A place to be exactly who you are — and be celebrated for it.

We’ll be shifting the focus away from restriction and rules, and instead looking at how to fuel your body positively, with good quality intake, realistic choices, and habits that actually fit your life.

MOR Studio is our calm within the strength.

A space designed to bring control, balance, and connection between mind and body, supporting how you move, feel, and recover in everyday life and training.

Here, we slow things down with purpose—building awareness, mobility, and resilience that carries over into everything else you do.

What we offer:

Pilates ✨️
A low-impact, strength-focused practice that improves posture, core stability, and movement control. Pilates builds strong foundations, supports joint health, and helps reduce aches and pains by teaching the body to move efficiently.

Power Pilates ✨️
A more dynamic and challenging version of Pilates. Expect a stronger tempo, greater muscular demand, and increased heart rate while still maintaining control and precision. Perfect for building strength, endurance, and confidence.

Hatha Yoga ✨️
A slower, grounding style of yoga that focuses on holding postures, breathing, and alignment. Hatha supports flexibility, balance, and nervous system regulation—ideal for stress reduction and recovery.

Vinyasa Yoga ✨️
A flowing style of yoga that links breath with movement. Vinyasa builds mobility, coordination, and cardiovascular challenge while encouraging mindfulness and presence in motion.

Relaxation – Yoga Nidra ✨️
A deeply restorative practice often described as “yogic sleep.” Yoga Nidra supports mental health, stress reduction, and nervous system recovery.

At MOR, training isn’t about choosing one style of movement and sticking to it. It’s about building a body that’s strong, capable, resilient and supported from every angle.

That’s why MOR is split into Performance and Studio – and why the real magic happens when you combine the two ✨️

MOR Performance 💪

Our Performance classes focus on:

Functional Training – building real-life strength, movement confidence and injury resilience

Hyrox-style conditioning – improving cardiovascular endurance, stamina and mental grit

Mobility – maintaining joint health, range of motion and movement quality

From a science point of view, strength training 2–3 times per week is one of the most powerful tools we have for long-term health. It:
