Our residents enjoyed a heartfelt trip to Chipperfield Garden Centre, admiring all the beautiful Valentine’s gifts and cards on display. 💌💕

And of course… the café was simply too tempting to ignore! ☕🍰 A little tea and cake made the day even sweeter. 😄

Caring for our residents isn’t just about the compassion and medical side of what we do – it’s about the moments in between.

Every day we’re reminded that care is about connection. It’s about capturing personalities, sharing jokes, holding hands, and sometimes laughing until we can’t stop. 😊

🎤✨ Fly me to the moon… and back to Water Mill! ✨

Nick Denny brought the Rat Pack magic with Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis jr, with additional Bobby Darin and Neil Diamond classics — and our residents were singing in full voice! 🎶😄

Italian, Anglo-American and global chill-out hits filled the bistro with smiles and swing. What a fantastic singalong afternoon! 🌙🎵

❄️ Let it snow… because Wish Wednesday is here again! ❄️

Our residents headed out to support Craig on his incredible wish ❤️ An avid skier who has travelled to resorts including Le Grand Bornand (France), La Clusaz in the Aravis ski area, Sauze d’Oulx (Italy), Chamonix and Morzine-Avoriaz - and even worked as a ski guide for two winter seasons - it had been 12 years since he last put on a pair of skis.

In true camaraderie style, Dinkar, Gerry and Rita didn’t just watch - they joined in! ⛷️ Gerry returned to the slopes for the first time since he was 17, while for Rita and Dinkar it was their very first time on the snow… what a moment for everyone!

Dream fulfilled. Memories made. Smiles all round.

✨ Quiz Night – Everyone Welcome! ✨

We’re delighted to invite all families and friends, past and present, to join us for a fun-filled Quiz Night! 🧠🎉

It promises to be a great evening of laughter, friendly competition, and coming together as a community – all while raising funds for a wonderful local charity we’re proud to be supporting in 2026, The Waterways Experience.

This special charity is just a stone’s throw from the water mill and is closely connected to something we truly cherish. We regularly enjoy peaceful boat trips with our residents along the Grand Union Canal, which runs right alongside our home and brings so much joy, calm, and wonderful memories for everyone involved. 🚤💙

And guiding us through the questions on the night, we’re delighted to announce that your Quiz Master for the evening will be our Registered Manager, Victoria Forsythe – so expect plenty of fun along the way! 😄

So come along, bring your quiz knowledge, and help us support a cause that means so much to our residents and community.
Good fun for a great cause – we can’t wait to see you there! 🌟

Bright budgies and other feathered visitors 🐦💛

They absolutely loved all the fuss from our residents - so many “Who’s a pretty boy?” and “Who’s a pretty girl?” floating around 😂 In the end… who cares?! They were ALL pretty and they ALL knew it!

Childhood memories came flooding back for so many of us 🥰✨ Such a simple visit, such big smiles.

We celebrated International Lego Day on Thursday, and it was such a hit… we did it twice! We were delighted to welcome two fantastic school Lego clubs – Lockers Park and Abbotts Hill.

Thank you all for helping our residents feel so special and for taking them on a beautiful trip down memory lane to their childhoods ❤️
