If you’re preparing to run this weekend in the London marathon or you’ve just ran one in Manchester I sincerely hope you do not follow what Joe wicks has said on this podcast.

The amount of people that wing marathons is alarming, no carb load, turn up on the day having just had breakfast, no hydration strategy, no practice taking in carbs during their long runs and just fully expect to smash it on race day.

Sure you may be “fine” without but you sure as hell will be leaving a true reflection of what you’re capable of on the table.

And this goes for any endurance event, a Hyrox, triathlon, half marathon.

Your training builds the base for you to have the capacity to perform in endurance events.

But if you don’t take your nutrition seriously, especially for the longer events it can be the difference between winning and losing and in some cases sadly finishing..

Stop winging it and make the most of the tools available to you for you to excel.

Want some guidance on how to do this for your next race? Drop me the dm ‘fuel’ and we’ll talk you through how you’ll achieve your next race PB 🤝

Client testimonial 🥝

Lovely message from James last year who signed up last year for some support for a race in Switzerland 🇨🇭

Never focusing on his fuelling before for long runs this was really eye opening, he took to it really well and finished 745th out of 6500 entries!

After this it was all about refining James’ routine with nutrition, he ate healthy but had gotten into a habits that were longer serving his training goals.

After a short period of time we’d adapted to a new routine which reflected his hectic work and family life and provided him his own convenience when it comes to nutrition so that he could continue to progress even when he was under the kosh.

And the reason why is James bought in.

We explained what he needed to do and why and once he began seeing the positive changes early doors he went all and flourished from it.

For many of us we get stuck in negative habits that we know aren’t benefiting us but we struggle to see a way out, there’s so much conflicting information online that making a decision becomes more overwhelming because you don’t want to feel as though you’re making the wrong one.

Stop the guess work with your nutrition, get educated while getting results so you can stop going round in circles.

DM me ‘RESET’ to stop the viscous cycle you’re in 🤝

POV: We’re on our first consultation call 📱

These videos are a laugh but it’s sad to see the amount of people that will jump to a fad diet to lose body fat rather than work on their own diet.

Fad diets are unsustainable, require you to restrict foods you know you enjoy and ultimately most people end up gaining back what they’ve lost.

For long term weight loss we need to be working on our dietary habits and relationship with food which just isn’t possible following a fad diet.

If you’re tired of chopping and changing between one fad to next and never seeing the results you deserve, drop the DM ‘yo-yo’ and we’ll put a plan in place that allows to develop the tools to build your diet that provides lasting change 💪🏻

We all want positive toilet trip don’t we 🤷🏻‍♂️

But from the stats on slide two it seems that most of us in the UK seem to under eat our fibre. Which can lead to some poor number 2s 💩

Today we covered what fibre provides us, the soluble and insoluble sources and the short and long term consequences if we struggle to meet our fibre requirements

Take a scroll and let me know what swaps you are going to make to up your fibre intake in the comments below 👇🏻

And if you’re wanting to know more about the benefits fibre intake I strongly recommend giving these two a follow

FBW Client Transformation 🥝

James came to me at the end of September wanting to take his training performance to the next level and see some body composition changes.

He was working hard in training with the team but wanted his body to match all the hard work he was putting in.

His diet had a good balance to begin with, good healthy eating, he just needed educating on the numbers he needed to be hitting each day and what a portion of food would look like for him to achieve his goals.

Enjoying a social too it was super important to make sure we struck a balance so that he could still enjoy the socials but also feel confident his decision making will allow him to continue to progress 🙌🏻

After the first month we got him into a flow with his routine and then from October we began leaning down.

Over the course of 6 months James lost 13kg and I’m sure you can see the difference in his physique.

‘Dad bod’ to lean and strong!

And the class thing is that he’s recently became a father! James is the poster boy for the new dad bod 💪🏻

Throughout the process of leaning down James was hitting frequent PBs in training which goes to show if the training programme and coaching is top and it’s partnered with the right fuelling strategies around training we can still see strength gains while being on lower calories 💪🏻

Big congratulations to James for all the work he has put in, has the tools now to take control of his nutrition, continue to progress and be a staple top 3 performer in the workouts 💪🏻

Want results like this? Tired of going round in circles with your nutrition, stopping and starting and never seeing any long term change?

Drop me the DM ‘dad bod’ and let’s give you the change you’ve been after in 2026 🤝

You’ve been training for years. You’re not lazy, you show up and put the work in. But something isn’t shifting and you can’t figure out why

Here’s what I see when someone comes to me in that position ⬇️

Performance isn’t matching effort!

Training 4/5 times a week. You follow your programme. Ticking all the boxes. But your lifts are stuck, low on energy in sessions and you’re struggling to recover.

Natural conclusion: I need a better programme, train harder 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’s typically the wrong diagnosis. Your training’s probably fine. Your fuelling isn’t.

I made this exact mistake myself. Obsessed with staying lean, training like a madman on chicken and veg. Never recovering. Never improving.

Turns out I was under fuelling massively and nobody had ever explained how nutrition works around training. Easily fixable once you understand it 🤝

But underneath that there’s usually something else going on..

You’re scared of restriction 🙅🏻‍♂️

“What if sorting my diet means giving up my social life? What if I try this and it still doesn’t work.”

You’ve tried diets. They worked, then didn’t. So you don’t fully commit because committing means risking failing again. The approach was wrong, not you. Restriction doesn’t work long term. It never does

And then there’s the real root cause 🧐

Nobody’s ever actually taught you how nutrition works for someone who trains hard and has a life.

You’ve been given rules, not reasons. So the second real life gets in the way, you hit the factory reset button. Probably why it keeps falling apart 🤷🏻‍♂️

Once you understand how your body uses fuel and how to navigate real life without undoing the week, you stop needing someone to tell you what to do because you have the tools to do it yourself 🧰

It’s not effort. Not discipline. Not genetics. Its an under fuelled body, scarred from past dieting, and a lack of understanding of what actually works for your circumstances. All three are fixable ⛏️

If any of this resonates drop a 🙋 in the comments or DM me ‘stuck’ and we’ll discuss where you go next 💪🏻

Peace and love 🍻

How many of you press the factory reset button everytime you fall short of the expectations you set yourself?

And then undo all the hard work you’ve put in by falling back into your old habits?

I see this all the time in people that sign up, they’re wanting to do all the positive habit changes at once so they can get the results they want yesterday

But life doesn’t work like that and doing too much can lead to overwhelm and you end up not meeting the expectations you set because right now it’s too hard for you to achieve

That’s when we press the factory reset button and we’re back to square one 🤦🏻‍♂️

Let’s put that to an end by giving you the tools in the toolbox to do it yourself 🙌🏻

If you’re sick of starting from scratch and want to make a change for good, not just for summer, DM me ‘RESET’ and I’ll get in touch and we’ll get the wheels turning for to control of your fitness journey once and for all 💪🏻

I’m sure plenty of you have seen your coworkers riding lions in the office and berating your meal prep 😆

Don’t let anyone discourage you for trying to make a positive change

Their negative comments are likely a reflection of how they feel about their inaction 🤝

Keep up the good work 💪🏻

I spent years thinking I just needed more discipline.

Turns out I needed more information.

When I was in my early twenties I was obsessed with staying lean. Trained constantly. Ate chicken and broccoli like it was a personality trait. Felt destroyed every single day — physically and mentally.

I thought that was just what it took.

It wasn’t until my degree that I actually understood what I’d been doing to myself.

And that moment, realising the issue was never my effort, it was my understanding, is the entire reason I do what I do now.

Because I genuinely don’t want you wasting the years I wasted.

Swipe through. Save it. Refer back to it.

And if slide 11 resonates you know what to do 👇🏻

DM me ‘confused’ and let’s have a look at where you’re at.

Peace and love team ✌🏻
