Helping your horse feel better with Lazaris nerve release, Equine Touch & equine osteopathic skills
Learn to support your horse yourself-Learn Equine Touch with me I am trained in a number of exceptionally gentle, profoundly powerful bodywork method for horses, including Equine Touch, Reiki and Craniosacral therapy. I work with the connective tissue across the whole body which allows changes to occur in all structures from muscles to joints without the need for force. in 2021 I began a degree in Equine Osteopathy at the Vluggen School of Osteopathy is Germany, I will qualify in 2024

Working with a quiet and respectful manner, I am able to observe the slightest nostril wrinkle of discomfort and I always address the whole horse even when a specific area is causing an acute issue. I qualified under the creators of Equine Touch- Jock and Ivana Ruddock- in 2007 and have worked with all kinds of horses from dressage stars, eventers, jumpers, racers and hunters, to adored pony club fluffies, riding club horses and exceptionaly fit endurance horses. If you have noticed changes in your horse's performance or attitude to work or are looking to achieve greater relaxation or straighness, contact me to discuss how I can help.

Really great to see research backing up the mass of anecdotal evidence around track systems being good for overall health and weight management.

I know the herd at home are loving the track we are putting in here.

A study conducted by our university staff and student researchers alongside HorseWorld and Welfare Aware, has demonstrated the effectiveness of track grazing systems in managing equine obesity. 🐎 The research team observed 19 horses at HorseWorld for four months. The horses were divided into two groups: those kept on track grazing systems and those in traditional restricted grazing paddocks.

Lorna Cameron (Senior Lecturer at Hartpury University) said: “Our findings suggest that track grazing systems can effectively help manage bodyweight in horses prone to obesity, while maintaining their health and welfare. This research provides valuable insights for horse owners and carers looking for practical solutions to address equine obesity.”

Putting in the work.

Yes it is very good for my ego when I can swoop in on a visit, look all clever and well educated and help your horse move amazingly. But what really makes the difference is the 10 mins a day you amazing horse people put in, doing your homework to really help your horse embody and live the changes in their movement.

🙌 for the diligent horse lovers🙌

More words to this effect in the blog post below.

Thanks to Field and Forest Track Livery for letting me use photos of her beautiful horse!

Turns out finishing my studies at the Vluggen has left a lot of extra time in my life, I imagine this is what the kids leaving home might feel like!

I have been using this time to rest, regroup and really think about who it is I help and with what.

Whether I am out on the road helping horses all over the country with my unique blend of Equine osteopathy, Equine Touch, Cranio-sacral and Lazaris Nerve Release; or teaching dedicated groups of horse people Equine Touch, there is a common theme:

I help horses to feel better, move better and ultimately live better. And best of all, these horses come with horse people who are committed to doing the very best for their horses. Either because they are booking the most deeply feeling professionals for their horses, or because they are taking the time to educate themselves to help the horses themselves.

Best of both worlds is turning up to work with a horse who's human has also learned ET!

I travel all over the place from my base on the Welsh borders to see groups of up to 6 horses in a day.
Equine Touch courses also run all over the UK and abroad, I have 2 more starting this year, one in Powys and one in Monmouthshire. Contact me via Whatsapp for more information.

I can only imagine how uncomfortable these beans must be.
No their removal isn’t a job I relish in mares or geldings but they are a responsibility resulting from domestication.

Have you checked your mare or gelding?
