Do you find that your mood or energy levels drop when it gets colder and darker? It might just be nature.
This Autumn-Winter, something has been significantly different for me. This is the first time in years I haven’t feared the arrival of the evening anxiety as the sun’s light fades.
I’ve really leaned in to what is being called of us during this season. Slowing down, resting, wintering, hibernating.
Here’s just a few ways I’ve embraced the longer, darker, colder nights.
* Scaling back on social plans
* Embracing going to bed earlier
* Planning a slower pace for my workload
* Morning walks
* Eating seasonal warming comforting meals
* Hobbies such as reading, drawing, colouring, journaling or puzzles
