Such a privilege to be invited to share in Arti and her family’s blessings for a happy marriage. Her son is marrying in December and the preparations have already begun with the whole house being painted and the Krishna Laxmi shrine from which is growing a tulsi plant (holy basil), was the centre for prayer and honour 🕉️

Yoga carvings at the 7th century Virupaksha temple, and Vijayanagar, Hampi, Karnataka, India. Today was a wonderful visit to this UNESCO site. 🕉️

Sacred Hampi is teeming with temples adorned in carvings, some depicting dance and many yoga poses. The ancient city of Vijayanagar, founded in 1336 is now a UNESCO heritage site. The Virupakshar temple was constructed in the 7th century. One of our world’s wonders 🕉️
