Let's be vulnerable for a second.

My face might look bright and smiley in this photo, but let's be real... behind many smiles can be a lot of exhausting internal self-talk about 'failing' at habit change. We all have that internal scorecard, don't we?

I used to judge myself constantly. It didn't help me change; it just made me want comfort (hello, emotional eating).

In my work, the most common thing I see is people being way too hard on themselves. Here’s the truth: Your current habits were once solutions. They were formed to help you cope, find comfort, or feel safe.

The key to change isn't force; it's understanding, patience, and compassion. When we shift the language of our subconscious from judgement to curiosity, that's where the real, sustainable transformation begins.

I'm here to help you rewrite that internal dialogue and get your mind working with you, not against you.

Like many people I've struggled with my weight seemingly all my life. Now, after 2 children and 2 c sections, although I'm so incredibly grateful for what my body has been able to do, I don't always feel comfortable in my own skin.

There is a lot of fear and misinformation regarding the use of GLP1 medication, but I think it's important to acknowledge that it has been a life changing tool for so many people, but what happens when you come off?
Do the cravings and food noise come back?
For a lot of people, the answer is yes.

But what if that didn't have to be the case?
Like GLP1, hypnotherapy is a tool. It can help combat the food noise and the cravings (with some work from you)

That is why I'm introducing a 6 week course to support the transition from GLP1 to maintenance, to maximise your results when you stop taking the medication.

This will be going live at the end of the month. Please DM or contact me via my website for more information

Whether you are celebrating Easter or simply leaning into the quiet of a long weekend, I hope these few days offer you whatever you need most right now.

For some of us, holidays are a time of connection and joy.

For others of us, they can feel heavy, busy, or even a bit lonely.

Whatever you are feeling today is valid. My wish for you is a weekend of low pressure and high self-compassion. Take a breath, set a boundary if you need to, and remember that "rest" doesn't have to be productive to be meaningful

GLP medication.

Did the weight come back when the injections stopped?

It’s the cycle nobody talks about. GLP-1 medications are incredible tools, but they don't always address the subconscious patterns that drove our eating habits in the first place.

When the medication leaves your system, your old mental blueprint may still be there waiting.

Hypnotherapy is the missing piece of the puzzle.
By working with your subconscious mind, we can:

✅ Maintain that full feeling naturally.
✅ End the cycle of emotional bingeing.
✅ Create a lifestyle that lasts without a weekly injection.

Stop fighting your biology and start training your brain.

Please contact me for more information about how I can help with the transition from GLP.

Hi! Welcome! If we've yet to meet, I'm Nikki. Today, I'm going to show you a 5 second grounding trick for when you're feeling overwhelmed or things are feeling a bit loud.

When anxiety takes the wheel, your brain is living in the future.
To pull it back to the present, try this:
Focus on your exhale. Make it longer than your inhale.
Identify one thing you can smell.
Identify one thing you can touch.
This simple shift moves you from your "fight or flight" brain back into your "calm and logical" brain.

As we move into what feels for me like the 39th week of January, I find I am ever grateful for gluten free sourdough, good coffee and a place to relax and reflect while I work on hypnotherapy scripts.

"Can you hear me? Wait, I think you’re frozen. Oh—there you are!"

As a therapist in 2026, this is my daily mantra. I know you’re worried that online therapy feels "less than," or that I’ll judge the fact that your dog is currently using your lap as a pillow.

But here’s a secret from my side of the screen: I love the mess. I love that I get to meet the cat you always talk about. I love that you’re in your favorite hoodie because it makes you feel safe enough to talk about the hard stuff. And yes, I see you frantically shoving that pile of laundry out of the camera's view, it’s okay, I’ve got a pile just like it behind my monitor.

We’re two humans, doing our best, connected by a fiber-optic cable. It’s not "traditional," but it’s real, it’s raw, and it’s working.

Actual photo of me, fresh from the school run in the downpour... What you can't see... The equally drenched poodle and the pajama bottoms I have immediately changed into.

As our thoughts turn to the new year and maybe some of us are already making resolutions, I find myself wondering what it would feel like to make a resolution and stick to it.

I don't know about other people, but until very recently, I've struggled to stick with a resolution.

I've tried many things. Reframing. Smaller goals. Putting it out into the universe to hold myself accountable. Nothing worked. However, now I am using cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy to help me achieve my goals or resolutions.

Is it a magical, cure all, wave a magic wand and everything changes sort of deal?

It absolutely is not. I still have to do a lot of work and so do my clients.

What it does do, however, if you put the work in (and it is work, I'm sorry!) is help you understand yourself. It helps you to understand your triggers and helps you to rewire your brain so that it's not all encompassing any more.

So. If in 2026, you have a burning desire to reach your goals, or stick to a resolution, whatever that might be: reach out to me and let's see how I can help. Regardless of if you want help stopping smoking, some more support around eating patterns or some help with motivation or anything in between.

Happy New year. I look forward to meeting you x

Relax… you are getting very sleepy… or at least mildly amused. 😌

Contrary to popular belief, hypnotherapy does not involve swinging pocket watches, mind control, or waking up convinced you are a chicken. 🐔

What it does involve is helping your mind relax, focus, and work with you—whether that’s breaking habits, reducing stress, or finally feeling calm when your phone battery drops below 10%.

No clucking required. Just comfort, clarity, and a surprisingly relaxed you.
