Does every new year start with a list of things you plan to change to improve your health or emotional wellbeing that soon become distant memories of unfulfilled promises ? Do you then justify to yourself not following through with your plans as you’ve found there’s really no time to do so in your current life schedule or because you need to prioritise the needs of others ?
If so, why not make this year different by choosing to explore and evaluate, with a qualified counsellor, the “blocks” that seem to derail your plans to make beneficial changes ?
The “blocks” you have experienced year after year may be related to links between your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and underpinned by rules, assumptions and beliefs keeping you stuck in a way of being that doesn’t meet your needs.
Gaining such self awareness offers the opportunity to evaluate and adapt aspects of yourself that you may have taken for granted and to set you back on track again to the changes you want to make.
