Qi gong, (pronounced Chee gong) is an amazing practice for anyone recovering from an injury, feeling those aches and pains, or returning to exercise after a break. It is suitable for all ages and all body types, and can be done standing or seated. A lot of us are returning to work after a holiday or summer break, but how many are actually really looking forward to it? I love my teaching at Carlisle job, but it is always a struggle as I get out of the mindset. So, to help I thought we could do this together. For the month of September I thought we could focus on the positive, celebrate every small win and together make the process fun and successful..
You will need a journal, a pen and your good self; share the small wins here and log your positive progress.

Week 1. Set intentions and be grateful
Week 2 Notice the positive, notice what you notice.
Week 3 Start to see the dream, change of mindset
Week 4 Reflect on the month and future planning.

Together we can make this process fun and gain a more positive outlook on our return to work, new term or new job.

Debra and I have teamed up to put together a number of wellbeing events at Curlew Cottage, Low Gate, Northumberland. Our next event is Saturday 18th March. We will be celbrating all things to do with the Spring and what this can mean for you. There will be Yoga and Qigong as movement, breathing and meditation for rest and relaxation, yummy food and friends to meet or make. Have you seen that the Gov are to alter prescription charges so that you pay once a year for your HRT. A saving of about £200. One day menopause treatment will be free.
