Just a gentle reminder that the 'Letters to Heaven' postbox is inside the reception of the Funeral Home should anyone at all wish to call in and post a letter to their loved one. Many children have been in to post a picture they have drawn to send to Heaven as well for family members that have passed away.
With Father's day approaching, placing your thoughts and feelings in a letter to send may help you with the grieving process, even if it's just a little bit.
All letters/pictures are treated with the privacy, care, and respect they deserve and are never opened or read by us.

A Death Cafe is a chance to talk about death, often a taboo subject.
Many people find the subject difficult, meaning those of us who want to ask questions and share ideas about it can struggle to find space to do so.

A Death Cafe is different. You can talk about any aspect of death you like, and no Death Cafe covers the same topics, so if you have questions, ideas you'd would like to discuss, or thoughts you'd like to share, come and join us for an open and honest conversation with cake. The session is for anyone who wants to talk about death, and any related topics, and is about seeing where that takes us rather than imposing any particular viewpoint.

The Cafe will be led by Caroline Jones from Salford University.
Everyone is welcome to come and share ideas in a safe, supportive environment.
Booking required: please book your place by 1pm, Friday, 6 June 2025
