🎨 Special Arts Trail Workshops
We’re thrilled to be part of the upcoming Arts Trail for the New Mills Festival and have been lucky enough to secure a window for a special exhibition! To celebrate, Pippa from Pipsy Puffin Art and we will be hosting a series of one-off workshops. These sessions are perfect for your little creatives to make something truly special to be displayed in our exhibition window.

🎨 Big News from Saturday Art School! 🎨

We’re excited to announce that Saturday Art School is moving to a brand new, purpose-built studio this summer! 🌟

From Saturday 6th September, we’ll be reopening in our beautiful new space, designed to inspire creativity and give every child the room to grow.

🖌️ Sessions will run every Saturday during term time:
Ages 6+ – 9:30am to 11:00am
Ages 11+ – 11:00am to 1:00pm

✨ Small groups, big creativity:
Our sessions are deliberately kept small to create a nurturing, focused environment where every child matters. This ensures your child gets the individual support they need to develop confidence and artistic skill.

👩‍🏫 Led & planned by a fully qualified art teacher, and supported by workshop leaders who are fully trained and DBS checked, you can trust your child is in safe, professional hands.

Whether your child is just discovering their creativity or already loves to make art, we can’t wait to welcome them back in September.

Our Saturday portraiture workshops for ages 11+ have been going from strength to strength and we couldn’t be prouder of the creativity and focus our young artists bring each week.

From exploring proportions to experimenting with ink, pencil, and mixed media, students have been learning how to capture expression, personality, and detail in their own unique styles.

It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown, both in skill and confidence! 💪🖌️

What a lovely review from a parent, Thankyou🤍

As our mini artists grow up, they still need our creative encouragement, this particular year 9 student volunteered with me for a term and it was a delight having him with us. Thankyou for all your help with our mini artists.

Our son was lucky enough to complete three months of volunteering for his Duke of Edinburgh Award with Kidsartclubs. Rachel has created a wonderful setting where children learn and thrive in a welcoming and nurturing environment. Our son has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the club and has grown in confidence thanks to Rachel’s guidance and encouragement.

🌅 Art Club Highlights! 🎨
This week in Art Club, our mini artists truly outdid themselves! We’ve been exploring the beauty of sunsets, learning how to blend vibrant skylines, and experimenting with silhouettes that tell a story. To top it all off, we added a touch of culture by incorporating bold and beautiful African patterns into our work.

The creativity, focus, and imagination shown by our young artists was just incredible – they really did me proud! 💛🖌️

🌟 Originality. Integrity. Heart. 🌟

Every lesson I teach is created from scratch, rooted in years of experience, education, and a deep passion for helping children grow through art.

As an educator and artist, I bring more than just creativity to the table. I’ve spent years working with children of all ages and abilities from curious preschoolers to confident tweens, adapting my approach to meet every child where they are.

I know how to nurture self-expression, build confidence, and make space for every young artist to feel seen and valued.

My art clubs aren’t just about making something pretty, they’re about sparking joy, growth, and original thought.
Every project I share is a reflection of my own creative voice, not a copy-and-paste.

✨ Authentic teaching takes time, passion, and a deep respect for the process. And that’s what I’ll always stand by. ✨

To those who support original creators and trust me with your children, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💛 You’re the reason I continue to pour love into every session.

One of my little artists joined us again at after-school club today, and true to form, she brought all the joy, creativity, and glorious mess with her! 🎨✨

She’s never been one to stick to painting on paper, instead, she expresses herself wherever inspiration strikes (including herself today!). We spent the afternoon decorating her with colourful dots, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile so much.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I run these workshops: there’s something here for everyone. No matter your ability, background, or preferred way to create you’re welcome, celebrated, and encouraged to make your mark.

Art should be about joy, expression, and freedom and we had all three in abundance today. 💛

🎉 Huge Congratulations to One of Our Talented Mini Artists! 🎉

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that one of our amazing Saturday School artists has won the Hayfield Pro Loco Art Competition this weekend! 🖼️🌟

She began her creative journey at and joined Kids Art Club a few months ago. It’s been such a joy to watch her grow in confidence and skill. Both Pippa and I are so incredibly proud of her achievement, and we’re sure her family are too!

It’s always wonderful to see young artists being recognised for their talent and passion. Well done, superstar! 🥳✨
