Birth - what to expect, plans and hand holding
Birth - modes choices, your rights and navigating the NHS
Postpartum - womb to world, planning, what to expect
Breast Feeding - all aspects covered including bottles, science and all the places you can get support

£275 - £100 deposit and pay all upfront or email me to discuss payment plans!

Group chat and access to doula led support the whole way through and into postpartum.

Ive not done one of these for well over a year and this class is halfway full already. So don’t sleep on it!

Birth work is more than just babies. The bigger work here is community building.

I’m not an expert. I’m winging it like everyone else. But starting Grampian and Tayside Birth Partners has been one of the biggest lessons in how much we are crying for community.

I don’t do the big upsell. I don’t make promises. I just really want everyone to get what they deserve. And for that to be enough. No shade if that’s you and you are out there trying sell what you know. Im just not very good at that. I swear too much and I’m too loud, and sometimes I come across as aggressive. But I’m very comfy in my own skin. And I’ll do an amazing job for anyone who finds me and likes that vibe.

Here’s a bit about me. Since there are so many new folk on here it’s good to say hiya and show my face. I’ve not come to terms with appeasing an algorithm yet. I don’t expect I ever will.

Morning pals!!!

It’s that time of year! Circles were sporadic this year but I’m back with Yule and I’m hoping to run them at each of the sabbats! So every six weeks.

Come join us for nourishing sharing, intention setting and a proper reminder about what this time of year means. Really means. It’s a break from the usual hubbub and a chance to adjust your nervous system.

Great things happen when women sit together. When we share and when we learn from each other.

Hurrah! It’s done. The service is open. We are taking referrals.

To say this has been a labour of love is an understatement and it’s only just at the very start of its official journey. Would be super sound if you could share this, any and everywhere your hearts desire.

Couldn’t have done this part without my other half and the trustees who basically stepped up every single time we asked, without question. held our hands at every junction, and her wisdom and her knowledge of what we wanted to do has been INVALUABLE. That the training we are able to offer volunteers! deserve all the love for welcoming conversations with us with open arms and offering their help and support!!!

Suppose now is as good a time as any to announce our lovely news. is something we’ve been busy working on for the last year. In January this year we were lucky enough to run the training fully funded in Aberdeen……..and in November this year its hitting Tayside!!!

So if you were thinking about training as a birth worker or you wanted to attend a birth come along on Thursday and have a chat with us!

The training will be delivered by the wonderful and it’s second to none.

VERY excited to be rolling out this as Grampian and Tayside Birth Partners starts to take shape and move forward as a charity! Looking forward to launching the service and the next lovely steps!

I want to announce that I’m leaving Doula UK.

But I was never part of that world. It’s never aligned with me. I was never really clear on why we needed that directory.

And I think that if are to be truly honest with ourselves, it is radical that we allowed ourselves to be governed by a directory in the first place.

At its bare bones, that’s all it is. A bunch of dusty assed women making decisions about who can or can’t sit with them, based on their religion, or the colour of their skin or the gender they identify as.

No thanks.

You cannot just support SOME women. You cannot just care about SOME of them. You cannot just be outraged about SOME of the birthers treatment.

Support all or none. You are quite simply dangerous if you don’t. It’s that fu***ng simple.

Part birth worker part potions master. I’ll use these to top up my own stash of foraged things. Herbs in the postpartum make my heart sing. I’ve been really loving Yarrow, rose and chamomile for myself, especially in the run up to my bleed.

Did you use herbs in birth and postnatally? What were your go to ones?

run the BEST herbarium classes which have helped my understanding of mixing things together no end!

We don’t always need to be foot to the floor, bashing things out. We sometimes need to sit still and wait.

Mind now, if you can accept that life isn’t linear, that healing isn’t linear, then you can accept that birth and pregnancy isn’t either.
