The Young Dementia Network worked with GPs to create a decision-making guide for GPs, endorsed by the Royal College of GPs, to aid the recognition of the symptoms of in younger people.

It aims to raise awareness of young onset dementia and the wide range of issues someone may experience which prompts a visit to their doctor, and helps GPs identify ‘red flags’ which suggest referral to specialist diagnostic services may be required.

At Homecare Gurus, caring goes beyond our services, it’s part of who we are.

Our admin team recently had the honour of visiting Little Sisters of the Poor – Nyumba Ya Wazee in Ruaraka, Nairobi.

The team donated food supplies and other essential items to support the elderly living in the home.

We were warmly welcomed and deeply touched by the moments shared with the residents.

Listening to their inspiring life stories and words of wisdom reminded us of the beauty of compassion, resilience, and community.

It was truly a heartwarming experience, and we are grateful for the chance to give back to those who have given so much to the world.

Together, let’s continue to spread love, care, and dignity.
