Ceva has proudly been the principal sponsor of the YNPA Regionals throughout February and March 2026 — three regions, three brilliant groups, and one shared goal: inspiring the next generation of our industry.

This year’s theme focused on inspiring and developing the next generation of the pig industry.

Junior Product Manager Natasha Willows was invited to speak about her non‑linear journey from small animal vet nurse into the sector, demonstrating that there is no single path into the pig industry. She also highlighted how Ceva is supporting organisations that bring new people into the sector, along with their new education portal, Ceva Academy, designed to provide accessible learning and development opportunities within the pig industry.

Ceva UK & IE Pig Team Hosts Influenza Roadshow in Ireland 🐷

Recently, our UK & IE Pig team held two influenza‑focused meetings in Cavan and Cork, bringing together vets from across Northern Ireland, & Republic of Ireland.

We were joined by Dr Ken Lemon (AFBI), Dr Helen Everett (APHA) and Dr Kathrin Dr. Lillie-Jaschniski (Ceva Animal Health), who shared updates on surveillance, research, and current influenza control approaches.

We also hosted a second round‑table session in Cork, joined by Veronika Vladimirova (Ceva Bulgaria), offering valuable international perspectives on influenza management.

Both events generated productive discussion around the flu situation in Irish herds and the evolving strategies being used across Europe.

Great engagement and fantastic insights from all involved.
