For anyone new to my profile, welcome to my little space of the web! My name is Laura and I run Elemental Vibrations, a holisitic practice, one of my two businesses, and a soul path of mine. I offer 1-2-1 tailored sound therapy, mobile sessions, private hire, and group sound baths. The latter I currently offer in South Buckinghamshire, Banbury and London. I was trained by Tim Wheater and Cherub Sanson in 2023, wonderful teachers with 70+ years of collective experience behind them. I am also an Usui Reiki Master. I am diagnosed ADHD and was left with C-PTSD in my teens. Both of these led me down often unhealthy paths of self-medication to subconsciously find relief from some of my symptoms, and anxiety. Like so many of us I always found music to be my master healer and true salvation, the healthy form of therapy for me! Music has the power to almost instantly transform my mood and recalbrate me on a much deeper level. At an event in my twenties I found myself in the calm serenity of a sound bath, and discovered almost instant relief from the exhausting washing machine of thoughts revolving in my brain. I experienced the same peace and stillness in that sound bath as I did when I immersed myself in the quiet wonder of nature. After this I started to seek out sound baths, not so common back then as they are today, to find more of this freedom from my monkey mind. When I immersed myself in the ethereal, angelic sounds of singing bowls and chimes, and the meditative and clearing effects of the (right) gong (and a talented gong player) I felt at home, at peace, calm. I had a knowing from that first sound bath I experienced, that one day I would facilitate sonic medicine to help others in the same way it has helped me over the years. I love this work! Almost anyone can pick up an instrument and play it to some level but facilitation is about so much more than playing instruments. This is why it is important to go to a trained practitioner, one that knows that creating the right conditions, perceiving what is happening in the room, and playing with enough space for sound to integrate, will support a better and deeper experience.
Love, Laura x
