Your brain is your own personal security guard

Doing it’s absolute best to keep you safe and stress free

Stop living your life for other people.

It'll lead you straight onto the doorstep of misery and resentment.

But the question is... are you comfortable enough to not care?

Most guys spend their life doing whatever they can to get others to like them.

Often because... they don't like themselves.

Which is why the guys I work with not only transform their physiques...

But their life as a whole.

Here's the answer:

4 clients of mine were recently interviewed.

All beaming as they reflected back on their powerful journeys.

There’s one answer I’d like to share with you.

Mistakes:

“I kept trying to lose weight and build muscle at the same time.

I spent £100’s on supplements and personal trainers each month, but didn't get anywhere.

Looking back, what I was doing didn’t make sense. But at the time, I was following what the internet told me to do.

It wasn’t working.

Once we established the roadmap, it made complete sense.

Drop body fat FIRST, then build the muscle.

Now I’m leaner and more muscular than I’ve ever been.”

This is a common mistake that I made for years too.

Following the BS of social media 'influencers' and bodybuilders.

Not to mention the thousands I spent on s**te supplements.

Leaving me stuck, spinning my wheels.

You know when you’re approaching a McDonalds, how you can smell it streets away?

The same with Greggs, Subway and KFC?

Don't get me started with Lush... That place gives me a headache as soon as I step out of the car.

Well these brands have signature-like scents.

You know what it is, before you see it.

Which is great for the outlets. They're recognisable, distinct and unmistakable.

In fact, some even say that they pump fragrance through the vents to attract more customers.

I’m not sure how true that is... I heard it from a 'flat earther.'

But just like you can smell a meatball marinara from 20 yards.

You can also smell a s**t coach from a mile away.

Not literally [I hope], but in a metaphorical sense.

See, the barrier to entry in this industry is almost non-existent.

Meaning any Tom, Dick & Head [sorry, Harry] can drop a couple of lbs and then claim to be a 'coach'.

Many guys I've worked with have had the 'pleasure' of working with these people.

Where they fob you off with a generic training plan they found online

Accompanied by a bodybuilding menu for you to follow.

How depressing...

Now unless you plan to live like a bodybuilder for the rest of your life, this isn't going to work.

Because this structure allows for zero flexibility or social life.

Which to me, is unsustainable.

If I cannot be in great shape and ALSO take the Mrs out to Miller & Carter - then somethings not right...

Most guys wouldn't hesitate to drop £2k on a sofa.

Or £10k on a car...

Only for both to last less than 10 years.

Yet, won't spend a couple of hundred to not look like a sack of potatoes in the mirror.

And stop themselves dying early.

I'm being direct because I believe it's what you need to hear.

No more coddling and lying to yourself.

You don't have a money or time issue.

You have a money or time ALLOCATION issue.

For years I used to do this...

Starting my week off with the right intentions,

Hitting it at 100mph and sticking to “the plan”.

Eating clean & training hard.

But as the week continued on, I lost motivation and control

Work life was busy,

Social events to attend,

Birthday meals to celebrate.

You know the score...

Then, before I knew it, Sunday would come round and I'd be full of guilt and negative thoughts.

Beating myself up about how I had ruined yet ANOTHER week,

This then resulted in me comforting eating (self sabotage).

[Chocolate digestives usually...]

I'd the declare:

“I’ll start again tomorrow!”

Only for the the cycle to be rinse and repeated.

Sound familiar?

Of course it does.

We all have great intentions on Monday.

Motivation is high and we're ready to start the new week.

But the back end of the week seems to be harder to manage.

Well, it used to...

I now know how to maintain that balance throughout the whole week,

Allowing me to stay in shape without living like a boring bodybuilder.

365 days a year.

Do you actually respect yourself?

It’s time to be honest.

Let me tell you about a pivotal moment in my own journey...

As some of you may know, I used to have a few destructive habits.

[to say the least]

I’d drink and smash drugs most weekends, living for the weekend release.

I’d kid myself into thinking it was fun... but the reality was this:

I was chasing short term pleasure to make up for the fact that I felt like s**t.

Confronting this was a struggle because it made me feel uncomfortable. Looking at your demons always will...

There came a moment where I [literally] put myself in front of the mirror. I remember it clear as day...

Standing there, I audited myself. Embarrassed of the man who looked back at me.

I knew I didn’t respect myself and it was time to finally admit it.

Poisoning my body in many ways. Constantly breaking promises I made to myself.

I felt like a lost boy in a mans body...

Something had to change.

It was in that moment that a spark turned into a flame. In essence, I got sick of my own s**t and decided that I needed to step up.

Not just for myself, but for those around me.

I vowed to do whatever was necessary to build my self-respect back up.

And I can say that, without a doubt, it was the best decision I ever made.

Now, if I placed you in front of a mirror and asked you to audit who looked back, what would you say?

Would you be proud? Or embarrassed?

If it’s the latter, it’s time to step up.

You’re doing yourself and those you love a disservice.

Most people struggle to get into great shape because they can’t navigate their hunger correctly…

Fun fact:

A lack of sodium in the body feels very similar to a lack of food.

We are often unable to differentiate between the two feelings.

So as a result, when people are low on sodium, they usually attribute it to the feeling of hunger. Thus, eating unnecessarily.

To help overcome this, start increasing your salt intake in the morning.

You can do this through consuming electrolytes or literally, just putting salt in water.

Try this and watch your ‘hunger’ subside very quickly.

You can thank me later!
