When you have an abundance of blackberries due to re-wilding the garden it’s fresh smoothies everyday and crumble every other day.
I’m so grateful for this privilege. Fresh Fruit, Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Was working in Croydon last week and the Town Hall looked so nice in the sunshine behind the lush greenery of Queen’s Gardens.

Also found this lovely Annual Honesty (Lunaria Annua) aka Moonwort (named after the appearance of its seeds), growing nearby.

It’s a herb and leaves and flowers are edible, both have a cabbage like flavour. The seeds can be used as a mustard substitute and the root can be peeled and also eaten.

Nervonic acid, found in the seeds, has been used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
The plant is also known for having anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

You’ve got keep your eyes sharp when you’re looking for fungi in the woods. 👀
Found this beast of a birch polypore (Fomitopsis betulina) lurking in Walthamstow Forest.
Made me think of the Simpson’s 🤷‍♂️

Today we March, in our thousands and in our millions, we are all Palestinians!

More important than ever! The slaughter of Palestinians has not abated in Gaza, death, destruction, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing are being perpetrated in the West Bank!

The sick rhetoric of Trump is emboldening Netanyahu to commit further atrocities, while he claims that it’s Hamas who are not complying with the ceasefire. It’s the absolute opposite and everyone should see through the lies and propaganda.

Reprehensible and shameful. We will march, we will not stop until all Palestinians are free. From the River To The Sea!! 🇵🇸
