On Saturday, I talked to a cafe owner about first aid.

Her cafe is in a remote location near woodland.

She recounted the experience of a customer who had been bitten by a dog.

A deep cut, right through his hand.

None of the team are trained in first aid, and there is no first aid kit on the premises.

There was little they could do to help.

Except to send the customer to A&E.

If this situation happened on your premises, do you have a qualified first aider to administer the right help?
