Join us for a fantastic week of community spirit, entertainment, learning and celebration during Care Home Open Week! Residents, families and the local community are warmly invited to take part in our special events throughout the week.

Monday 15th June

Join us for complimentary tea, coffee and freshly baked sweet treats from our Head Chef.

Dementia Action Week at Hindhead Place💙

Join us at Hindhead Place this May for a series of meaningful and interactive sessions as part of Dementia Action Week.

📅 Monday 18th, Wednesday 20th & Friday 22nd May
⏰ 2pm - 4pm

We’ll be delivering a condensed version of our EPIC training, designed to give those in the community a deeper understanding of what it can feel like to live with dementia. Through empathy, perspective, interaction, and communication, our dementia carers and experts will share practical techniques on how to better support those living with dementia.

Refreshments will be served, and everyone is warmly welcome to attend.

We’re putting together something a bit special at Hindhead Place – our very own cookbook! 🍳

We’d love for you to get involved by sharing a favorite recipe. It could be anything – a family classic, a dessert with great memories, or just something you really enjoy making.
We’ll be using some of the recipes in cooking and baking sessions here at the home, and you’re more than welcome to come along and join in with the residents – it should be a lovely way to share stories and have some fun together.
