Following the painting session we made the most of tidying up. 😆 Our cheeky residents screwed the news paper up into balls and started a throwing game.... at our homemakers!!... so, moving swiftly along, more residents arrived to join in the fun and we spent the time until supper having lots of fun and laughter throwing paper balls at each other. 🙄🤣

Getting ready for st David's Day on Sunday.. cutting out Red Dragons and painting beautiful Daffodils . We enjoyed reading Wordsworths famous poem while we painted "A host of golden Daffodils." ✨️

We were so blessed yesterday to have this wonderful puppy come to visit. Beautiful Jasper brought joy to so many residents, such a gentle soul 💖 🐶

Whilst our ever expanding scrabble club enjoyed a few games in the Activity room, and the first floor were singing and dancing away with Megan, our social group got competitive with a game of balloon Badminton. A busy afternoon 🥰

The sun was out and so were we! Wrapped up warm, we enjoyed a walk in our gardens looking for signs of spring 🌻 then in the lounge for a cup of tea and a chat. 🥰

Happy Chinese New Year everyone.
We were very lucky to have Angela from Chinese Brush Painting Society today. A dragon for Chinese new year ( yes....It's the year of the Horse) but Dragons are huge in Chinese art culture . We learned all about them today. 🐉

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our residents, families and team, we were proud to present a £300 cheque to The Hunter Centre - Haslemere - a fantastic local charity supporting people living with dementia in Haslemere and the surrounding area.

Supporting our community and raising awareness around dementia care is something we care deeply about, and we’re so pleased to contribute to the incredible work The Hunter Centre does every day.

Megan is such a special young lady 💛

The way she engages with each of our residents is truly heartwarming. She takes the time to connect with every single person, encouraging them to sing along, tap their feet, share a memory, or simply hold her hand while she sings.

Her warmth, patience and genuine kindness shine through in every interaction. It’s not just about the music — it’s about the connection she creates. Watching our residents come alive, smiling, laughing and joining in, is something very special to witness.

We are so grateful for the joy she brings into our home. 🎶✨
