Hi I would like to introduce myself. I am Karen Grimes and this is my new venture. My life in Disability Support started in 1996 by accident. In 1994 my life changed when I suffered a Severe Stroke at the age of 23. 18 months of hard rehabilitation I started volunteering at Enfield Disability Action and fell in love with welfare rights. It felt good to help other disabled people giving the help I wished I had received. Within 1 year I secured part time work and my new career begun. My career developed and was soon an expert in DWP tribunal representation and social care. I became the Independent Living Manager and constantly maintained a very high success rate in my casework. I stayed at Enfield Disability Action until its closure in October 2023. Enfield Disability Action has left a big hole in the community and KG Disability Support Service will try to fill some of these. Working with a leading social welfare centre with over 28 years of experience in welfare rights and community care, specialising in providing expert support and advocacy for individuals with disabilities I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced my clients. I am dedicated and committed to helping individuals navigate the complex processes involved in accessing benefits and social care. I am a expert in DWP tribunal hearings and have a strong track record of achieving successful outcomes for my clients. Unfortunately I cannot offer a free service but my rate are competitive.
