The clocks have officially gone back. Were you one of the lucky few who gained an extra hour in bed? Or was it an extra hour of your child’s favourite TV show?

One thing we can all relate to is that the nights will now be longer. This can make it harder to spot pedestrians.

So, please remember:

⭐ Be bright, be seen. Wear bright clothing during the day and reflective clothing or accessories after dark
⭐ Always choose routes and cross at places that are well-lit
⭐ Where possible, cross the road at a pedestrian crossing
⭐ Remind older children who travel by themselves about road safety and the additional hazards in Autumn/Winter
⭐ Devices can be a major distraction, so encourage your child to put them away and take any headphones out while crossing the road

Help raise awareness of ovarian cancer in Lincolnshire.
We’re developing a new public awareness campaign and want to understand how aware people are of ovarian cancer and its symptoms.

Your feedback will help shape clear, impactful messages that reach more women, sooner.

To ensure your celebrations are remembered for all the right reasons please keep safety in mind:

• It is safest to visit an organised display but if you're going to have fireworks at home only use fireworks that are suitable for the space you have
• If using candles keep them in a candle holder well out of reach of children and pets
• Traditional outfits can be highly flammable so stay well away from open flames
• If clothing does catch fire remember to STOP, DROP and ROLL

💻✨ YOUR WAY TO CONTACT THE SURGERY! ✨💻
Just a quick reminder that ACCURX is the main way to get in touch with the surgery for anything you need:

💬 Need to speak to a doctor about your health?
📝 Need a sick note or have an admin request?
💊 Need to order a prescription?
📞 Have any problem or question for the surgery?
👉 Please go through ACCURX!
https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/C83065
ACCURX is our online contact system, and it’s been working brilliantly for quite a while now 🌟
⚙️ How it works:
Your request goes straight to the right team – admin or clinical.
If it’s clinical, it’s reviewed by clinical team who triages your request 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
Admin requests (like sick notes or prescriptions) go to our admin team first.
💡 A few important tips!
✅ Please give as much detail as possible when answering the questions.
✅ There are only 6 short required questions, but the more information you share, the easier it is for doctors to help you quickly.
✅ If the GP doesn’t have enough information, they’ll need to message you for more — which can delay your care ⏳
🙋‍♀️ Don’t worry — our lovely reception team is always happy to help you fill out the ACCURX form if you need assistance! 💙
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us make things run smoothly for everyone 🙏
Using ACCURX means your request goes to the right person, right away! 🚀
