Yesterday our residents' activity was Tai Chi. They enjoyed gentle exercises to soothing music, learning how the different movements target support on different organs in their bodies. We all felt very relaxed after this session.

Our new Activities Manager Rebecca is keen to ensure our residents have the activities they want - so she spent yesterday afternoon filing and painting the ladies' nails. They loved their pamper session and are already planning their next colour choices!

This morning we got crafty with Bex, making cards featuring 3D butterfly art. Aren’t we an artistic group!

Yesterday our Head Chef Ben demonstrated how he prepares Smoked Fish Tarts. Our residents are always very interested to see what goes on in the kitchen, and how the fresh ingredients are transformed into the delicious meals which Ben and his team produce every day!

Monday morning exercise with Chris! The residents loved joining in on the warm up exercises, focusing on their arm and leg movements. Then all enjoyed a bean bag game where they threw their bean bag onto the highest number they could. Ended on a bonus round of whoever could get their beanbag into the basket, won 500 points. It was a lovely group to start the week!

We're kicking off the New Year with creativity and smiles! This week our residents enjoyed getting artistic with Josie from Class Creative Art Studios, using vibrant chalk pastels to make a special Happy New Year display for Elliscombe House.
