A very wet and windy walk last Sunday for the 5th leg of the Anglesey Coastal Path … Moelfre to Pentraeth.

A shorter walk this week, just over 10km in about 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The best bit had to be discovering that my waterproofs, including my shoes, weren’t actually waterproof after all!

In close second was sitting on Benllech beach, eating our lunch in the pi***ng rain!

It’s safe to say that we were all soaked by the end!

Fab effort off everyone that came. Our next walk, Pentraeth to Beaumaris, will take place in three weeks on Sunday 14th November.

Walk 4 of the … Amlwch Port to Moelfre … done ✅✅✅

Today we covered just over 12 miles … almost 31,000 steps completed in 5 hours and 15 minutes.

The ‘where the f**k are we group’ was a little smaller this week as some of our walkers completed the walk last weekend.

Anglesey Coastal Path Walk 3 … Cemaes to Amlwch Port ✅✅✅

Today we covered 8.3 miles … over 21,000 steps in 3 1/2 hours.

That was a tough walk … lots of climbing up and down! My ass is certainly feeling it now 🙈🙈🙈

Never be fooled by what you see on the outside … because on the inside it’s probably a different story!

So many people are struggling with motivation at the moment, feeling overwhelmed and lacking the confidence and the energy to do things. Yet they feel they need to put their game face on and pretend to the word that everything is ok.

This past year and a half has been totally crazy ... everyone full of motivation and determination to start with, although a lot by now have fallen into a hole that's hard to climb out of ... it's hard to get back into a routine after taking time off!

Having struggled with anxiety and low moods for the past 15 years, I know better than anyone how difficult taking that first step can be. I also know how important leading a healthy and active lifestyle can be for your mental health.

Never underestimate the power of exercise for mental health!

I just want everyone to know that I'm here to help if I can and will always welcome everyone at my fitness studio.

Remember … it’s ok to not be ok ❤️❤️❤️

Another Sunday well spent in the sun … Anglesey Coastal Path Walk 2 … Church Bay to Cemaes ✅✅✅

Today we covered 11.5 miles … that’s over 27,000 steps! We definitely deserved that refreshing cold drink at the end!

It was lovely to welcome a few new faces to the group.

Meet Erica … a real person with real results!

At the age of 54, having struggled with a negative relationship with food for many years, Erica sought my help to get her nutrition on track.

Erica’s aim was to develop a better relationship with food along with a better understanding of the types of foods she should be eating. She also wanted to lose weight as well as increase her overall fitness levels.

During our initial consultation, we put together a plan which included small steps and realistic goals that Erica could achieve over the coming weeks.

Our aim was to lose 1-2lb per week by increasing Erica’s activity and setting her a daily calorie target that ensured she was in a calorie deficit.

These past 10 weeks have not been easy for Erica! As well as having to implement the nutritional changes required, she has also suffered with a flare up of an existing injury (a slipped disc in her back) which has made moving extremely difficult, she was left without a car following an accident as well as having to self-isolate due to Covid.

Throughout everything that’s been thrown at her, Erica has taken on board every bit of information given to her and her results are outstanding …

Over the past 10 weeks she has lost an incredible 7.3kg (16lb 1.5oz), her BMI, body fat and visceral fat have all decreased to within a much healthier range and she’s lost a total of 42cm from her arms, chest, waist, hips and thighs!

These results are incredible … I am one super happy and proud Coach. What makes me smile the most though is not how much weight or cms Erica has lost, it’s seeing the difference in her mental state and the positive relationship she now has with food. I am confident that Erica now has the tools she needs to continue along her journey to becoming a healthier version of herself.

Working on me … for me!

A Sunday well spent … Anglesey Coastal Path Walk 1 … Holyhead to Church Bay ✅✅✅

We started together, and we finished together … 16 miles, over 35,000 steps and 5 1/2 hours later we all sat down for a well deserved drink at

We’ve decided to name the walking group after a common phrase we all used today … ‘lle f*c yda ni?’ or in English … ‘where the f**k are we’ 😂🤣😂

Chicken and Chorizo Jambalaya … this has to be one of my favourite meals to make!!

It’s super easy and ridiculously tasty 😋

All you need is …

1 tbsp olive oil
400g chicken breast
1 onion
1 red pepper
2 garlic cloves
75g chorizo
1 tbsp cajun seasoning
250g long grain rice
400g tin tomatoes
400ml chicken stock

Serves 4

Calories 489
Carbs 52.7g
