Jennifer’s thirst for knowledge led her through extensive education, clinical experience, spiritual teachings, continued professional development and research spanning over three decades in naturopathic, chinese, bioregulatory and energy medicine.
Jennifer sensed very early on in her education that to truly heal the body, emotions and soul, she needed to acquire a unique skill set enabling her to identify and address the root causes of the complex modern-day wellness challenges people face - especially in the areas of immunity, inflammation, detoxification, neurology and metabolic health.
She is a qualified and registered naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist, acupuncturist, bio-energetic practitioner, reiki master, healer, certified practitioner in homotoxicology, mesotherapy and bio-puncture, eft and matrix reimprinting and heartmath.
In her integrative and personalised approach to health and well-being, she merges the ancient wisdom of time-honoured healing traditions with cutting-edge, evidence-based testing and innovative technology to awaken the body’s inherent ability to heal itself.
Jennifer is a published author and an award-winning journalist, writing for many publications including the hugely popular weekly column “what’s the alternative?” For the sunday times style magazine which over 1.5 million readers read in the uk alone.

Truly beautiful to see a rescue turning around so fast and also bonding with this little chap.

The morning after the first night I had with Maisie, the Weimaraner I was approached to rescue, I’m not ashamed to say, that I sat in the kitchen and wept. I was exhausted as was sleeping beside her on the floor to give her love, healing and a sense of peace and safety… which meant very little sleep! She had learnt so many negative habits in her previous life and at times was aggressive, something I had not experienced before in the dogs I rescued.

When rescue animals come to me, as a naturopath trained in many modalities, I simply see what is out of balance and on what levels. Same as with my lovely human patients. I knew I had my work cut out here, but have been working on her gut-brain, I changed her diet, worked on trauma held in her ‘field’, gave her a constitutional homeopathic remedy to name but few clinical interventions, of course, this combined with a good dose of unconditional love and gentleness is what is needed too.

But I have to say the transformation in eight days is simply remarkable. Blessed and so grateful for the skills and gifts accrued over 3 decades and how I can apply to both humans and animals 🙏🏻

As promised, here is Maisie, the beautiful dog we were asked to rescue on Saturday… And collected on Sunday… she is a dream and has settled in so beautifully in less than 48 hours.

The first night was a rather painful one for me sleeping on the floor beside her but I felt she so needed love and reassurance, it was my only choice. She had lots of healing, love and cuddles. She is a different dog already!

Our little pup Mads absolutely adores his new big sister Maisie.

I promised I would post pictures as many of you have contacted me saying how much you enjoy seeing the personal side of my life and my love for home, nature and animals. More health-related posts to follow too 🥚🥦🥗

Dog in a manger… it was only a matter a time before our puppy Mads, living in a home full of house rabbits, would begin to think he’s a rabbit. So he took himself off for a siesta after lunch, not on any of the plush throws or beds provided, but chose to lie in a rabbit tray full of hay 😂

So blessed to have this adorable little cutie in our lives. ❤️

I believe passionately not only about what we humans consume in our daily diet but also what we feed our beloved pets. Dietary changes cannot be made suddenly with pets so I’m using what he previously was fed but slowly beginning to integrate primal foods that his ancestors would have eaten … so Mouse too, will follow same principles that I practice at home & with patients.

The healing power of indoor plants and flowers… We live in a world where we are constantly exposed to toxic stresses & harmful chemicals in our environment along with bio toxins such as mould, viruses and bacteria that are immune and endocrine disruptors amongst other things.

I fully understand there are external toxins in the atmosphere that we cannot control but we do have control inside our homes. NASA studied houseplants almost three decades ago as a purification agent to provide cleaner air in the home. Certain plants have the capacity to filter out harmful compounds such as formaldehyde and transform into oxygen.

I must admit I do prefer traditional, native plants over the more exotic oriental versions, so favour English Ivy which has the added benefit of reducing the amount of airborne f***l matter… a must with the amount of rescue animals in our home. I also intuitively was drawn to Asparagus Fern and researched later that it had the highest removal rates for VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Peace Lily is another must as reduces levels of mould spores by absorbing through their leaves and take into their roots to use as their fuel.

And above all else, they are a beautiful stress reliever and focal point to turn your eyes away from your screen and lose yourself gazing into their perfection.

Healing power of herbs. 🌿

You can have access to the phytochemicals all year round when you simply soak fresh herbs (or dried) in any chosen oil. Simple.

Here I picked on a sunny day fresh biodynamic, organic coriander or cilantro, a herb with extraordinary detoxification and digestive properties, with another favourite herb of mine which aids detoxification and is a natural diuretic (flushes excess water from your body), parsley with nasturtium leaves, nature’s antibiotic along with the flower to get the beautiful red colour in. Added some fresh organic red chilli to add some fire and soak for about a week. Remove herbs and drizzle your healing herbal oil over salads and low carb veggies.
