For those of you who don't know, I have a weekly travel show on a community radio station called Postcards and Playlists. This week's postcard comes from one of my favourite UK destinations- Cornwall. I also give a shout out to Mai Adventures and Lower Marsh Farm in this episode. Chair Yoga at Fairkytes Art Centre – Wednesdays 11:30 am🌿

These classes have been created in response to growing demand from students looking for a more accessible and supportive way to practise yoga. Chair Yoga is ideal for anyone with limited mobility, those recovering from hip or knee surgery, or anyone who prefers a gentler approach to movement.

Alongside improving mobility, strength, balance, and breathing, this class also offers something just as important — a relaxed, welcoming space to connect with others, enjoy a shared experience, and take time for yourself in good company.
All movements are guided from the support of a chair, making the practice safe, comfortable, and adaptable.

Booking is now open:

Are you in midlife (or beyond) and feeling the many things this season of life can bring? Anxiety, sleep struggles, brain fog, hormonal changes, or just a sense that your body and mind need a little extra care? You’re not alone 💕

Midlife & Me Yoga is a gentle yoga class, suitable for complete beginners, created especially for women in midlife and older. Each week we focus on a different aspect of a woman’s life – from anxiety and menopause to sleep deprivation, brain fog and more.

Through gentle movement and guided relaxation, the classes are designed to help ease the symptoms that so often show up during midlife, while nurturing calm, strength and self-compassion
This is more than a yoga class – it’s a friendly, supportive community. After class, there’s the option to stay for coffee and brunch, giving space to chat, connect and continue the supportive conversation.

Over the past year, I’ve had more and more people ask about a class that offers the benefits of yoga in a way that’s comfortable and accessible for those with limited mobility or recovering from injury.

With that in mind, I’ll be starting Chair Yoga classes at Fairkytes Art Centre in the new year.

Chair Yoga is a wonderful way to move, stretch, and strengthen the body — all while staying supported. It’s particularly helpful for anyone recovering from hip or knee surgery, or who simply prefers a gentler approach to movement.
