At 'home' on the farm, chez Franck, we were serenaded by an illegal rave going all night long our first night - the farm is in the middle of nowhere! Other than that, fresh strawberries, grapes from their vines. Walnuts from the farm, pool life, and the precious donkeys Beau-beau and Zigzag. I am in love......

First part of our summer. It was a bit of a tough one for me as this was the first year in at least a decade where my mobility was severely compromised, however, we still had lots of fun!

Last pics. The monkeys in particular were incredible, these two were a Mum and baby, mum was helping feed baby with the acorns caught in the windscreen wiper well in my car.

A scrumptious dessert table and rustic wedding cake for the lovely Hett and Mark's wedding.

We have a 3 layer, Glutenfree salted caramel sponge cake filled with salted caramel buttercream and dark chocolate ganache as the wedding cake.

The goodies are: Glutenfree salted caramel cupcakes with salted caramel buttercream, Glutenfree lemon bars, brownies, blondies, snickerdoodles, Meringue kisses, chocolate chip cookies, choc fudge crinkle cookies and last but by no means least, caramel coconut slices.

Having had to work all week, combined with my health being a bit rubbish, my utterly amazing son made all the cookies and the brownies/blondies for me - what an absolute superstar Baker!!

What an amazing project this was, ably assisted by my talented teens and !

The brief was: a hospital scene, with 7 year old Jessica as the doctor, and mum and dad as the patients, with lots of bandages! 2 gluten free cakes, one chocolate one vanilla. Then, 24 medical themed cupcakes which were made by with a little help from ! A dozen chocolate, a dozen Vanilla.

I think it came out all right!

I had the absolute pleasure of creating a unique cake for this utterly fascinating gentleman, Charles Brooking, Architectural Historian for his 70th yesterday.

Using just 5 images of his vast collection of historical architectural details, I painted this cake in edible paints.

Underneath is a 6 layered Raspberry and White Chocolate sponge cake filled with White Chocolate buttercream and Raspberry jam covered with White chocolate Ganache.

I think this is by far, my favourite project to date 😍
