The vessel that gets left behind
It feels empty and hollow
Where hope and joy once lived, is now filled with sorrow
The marks and signs where there once was life inside still shows to the eye
The mother sees but it's all a lie
No baby to grow and hold
A dream that will never unfold
Now she's faced with a new story to create
A journey of surrendering to her own fate
Yet first comes the grief and heartache she has to somehow learn to live with
When everything is turned upside down and there's nothing left of her to give
She tries to push through, to stuff it all down, even longs for the heaven's gown
But deep down inside of her is an unknown feeling, a knowing
An unconscious call of her true becoming
It carries her through all the dark times of despair
And through this journey she begins to repair
Little by little, with the slow pace of grace
She's guided back to her own race
The walls tumble down and she begins to give in
To that unknown feeling deep within
She lets the tears fall and allows herself to break
Somehow returning from the most horrific heartbreak
Nothing is the same and nothing feels right
Yet within her she finds the strength to fight
To fight for herself and the babies who have gone
She is shown over and over that maybe what we've been told is all wrong
She starts to see that there is something there after we've gone
She feels the wind wrap around her in a hug like it never did before
And is cracked wide open to so much more
To the feelings she is now able to endure
The messages from heaven she sees on her phone
The remembrance of her true home
Finally she realises that just like love, energy never dies
And that's what we all are, we've just been fed lies
A soul in a vessel here on earth
Connected to everyone and everything that ever was, is and will be
Now she can rest in what she can see
In what she can feel
And what she can be
She uses her pain and turns it into her power
Step by step blossoming like the most beautiful flower
A new dream she writes yet her past never forgotten
Only the lies, expectations, and conditions go rotten
She breaks the chains and the curses
In the knowing she gets to write all of her verses
She feels her loved ones every day
And when she forgets, they remind her in every way
That they are always connected
Their bond forever protected
Their love she uses as her guide
Knowing their true selves never left her side
In loving memory of Miles Benito Massa, Max Arthur Hobbs, Lola Rose Hobbs, and all the babies who continue to guide us 💙💖💙
