💚Little Reminder for Your Heart Today💚

You’re allowed to step back.
You don’t need to carry every situation or play an active role in everyone’s story. We all have our own lessons to move through, and that’s part of the human (and soul) journey.

This week someone said to me,
“You post all this love, compassion and positivity… but that’s not what you ARE.”
And my answer was simple:
No — it’s not all I am.
It’s a part of me.
But I’m also someone who can say no.
I’m someone who can speak up if I feel disrespected.
And I’m someone who is allowed to put myself first.

Saying “No, I can’t help with this” is completely okay.
Compassion and love show up in many forms, and sometimes the most loving thing is holding your boundary instead of holding the weight.

Being a “good” person starts with treating yourself well.
Protect your energy. Honour your limits. Create the boundaries your nervous system has been whispering for.

Because sometimes helping can actually hinder, and at some point we all have to meet our own accountability.

You’re not abandoning anyone.
You’re simply choosing yourself too.
