Looking back at a season of connection, creativity, and community! ✨

From September to December, we’ve been busy bringing people together through art, food, and shared experiences. Whether it was crafting lanterns for World Mental Health Day or cooking up traditional Kurdish Tawa, every moment has been a celebration of the community spirit that sits at the heart of everything we do at Clear.

A huge thank you to all our clients, staff, and volunteers who made these months so special. We can’t wait to see what we create together in 2026! 💙

Lindsay loves the creative and flexible way we support our clients—there is always something exciting to get involved in!

✨ Time for You! Free Wellbeing Sessions in Batley ✨

Looking for a way to unwind and get creative? Clear is bringing a range of FREE wellbeing sessions to North Kirklees, and we’d love for you to join us!

Starting this January, we are hosting a 3-week pottery workshop at The Fields @ Manorfield I & N School. Whether you've never touched clay before or are a seasoned pro, these sessions are a great way to boost your wellbeing and meet new people.

🗓 When: Every Tuesday, 1:30pm – 3:00pm 📍 Where: 90, 92 Manor Way, Batley, WF17 7DQ

What’s on the schedule:

20th Jan: Air dry clay (Painting)

27th Jan: Air dry clay (Finishing/Varnishing)

Happy 1st of January! As we step into 2026, we are thrilled to share our brand-new CLEAR timetable for January through March. Whether you're looking for peer support, creative outlets, or a chance to connect with others, we have a packed schedule of groups and events waiting for you.

Weekly Highlights:

Mindful Mondays: Start your week with intention at Connect Housing in Dewsbury (11am - 1pm).

Creative Groups: From Warhol Wednesdays to Scrap Journaling and our Friday Art Group, there are plenty of ways to get creative.

Support & Connection: Join our Men’s Peer Support, Hearing Voices Group, or our 18-30 Group.

Weekend Drop-ins: Don't miss our Saturday Arts, Crafts, and Board Games sessions.

Upcoming Special Events:

🌟 2025: A Year of Connection, Growth, and Milestones! 🌟

As we reach the final days of 2025, we’ve been looking back at everything we’ve achieved together. It’s been a year of "comings, goings, and returns," and despite the ups and downs, our community has never been stronger.

This year’s highlights: 🎂 10 Years of Impact: We celebrated a decade of our service! 🏫 Community Roots: Our Batley school hubs and IASK drop-ins are thriving. 🌊 Memorable Trips: We finally made it to Scarborough, and our Haworth trip was so good the staff went back for their Christmas do! 🎨 Creativity & Joy: From the glowing Lantern Parade to Jax’s "time travel" sessions and launching our brand-new website. 🎤 The "X-Factor" Moment: Our winter celebration karaoke—Abi, Lindsay, and Krista gave it their all, and Josh is already planning next year’s rap battles!

Shout-outs to the team: Well done to Shauna and Hannah for the Dementia Hub workshops, Taz for securing tech for clients, and Stuart for representing Men’s Talk at the National Awards! A huge welcome to Brett and Josh, and a massive thank you to our volunteer superstar, Alisha. (And yes, we finally have working heating! 🔥)

Looking Ahead to 2026: We can’t wait to welcome back Grace, Katie, and Desi. Get ready for our new social media campaign and maybe a sponsored walk for the next Lantern Festival! 🥾

✨ What a Winter Celebration! ❄️
Last Wednesday, we hosted our most fabulous winter event, and wow, it was magical!
✅ Cosy vibes & crafty fun
✅ Gorgeous wreath-making
✅ Delicious food from our amazing cooking group
✅ A brilliant Men’s Talk performance (a twist on A Christmas Carol)
✅ Our much-loved shadow puppet show featuring a little pig lost in the woods and sound effects created by our music group.
✅ A festive quiz that kept us guessing
✅ And the grand finale… a karaoke blowout! 🎤
We laughed, created, and brought light to the darkest week of the year. 🌟
A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined, you made the atmosphere unforgettable!
