✨You Said We Did! ✨
You wanted to see: More nature activities/ walks/ trips and days out
We planned in: Wild garlic foraging, a picnic in Greenhead park and a nature walk in Marsden. We also enjoyed a day out to Bradford Media Museum , Ten pin bowling trip and exploring around Halifax Piece Hall.

✨Make sure you come along to the next Client Meeting in June to share your ideas for future sessions. ✨

We’re really proud to share the finished Community Quilt created at The Fields 🧵

Over five sessions, thirteen local residents worked together to design and sew this vibrant quilt, which is now proudly displayed at Field Lane I & N School. It’s been lovely to see how much creativity, care, and teamwork went into every part of it.

The feedback from those who took part has been so positive. Many talked about how the sessions helped them feel more confident, supported their wellbeing, and gave them a chance to meet new people and enjoy some time for themselves.

Because of how well this project went, Clear and The Fields will be launching another community quilt THIS WEEK —this time creating a quilt for Manorfield I & N School.

📍 Manorfield, Batley
🗓 Thursdays, 16 April – 21 May | 11:30am–1:00pm
✅ Free for anyone aged 18+ living in Kirklees
📞 Booking essential – contact Huda Khan on 07497 512 080 or book online https://forms.office.com/e/3ARV3YfnFg

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this project such a success 💙

It’s time for another staff spotlight! 💡

Meet Denise, our Administrator. She’s the person who helps get everyone settled into our activities and groups. She’s a big fan of family time, great books, and the soothing sounds of Jodok Cello. 🎻

We love having her energy in the office!

We enjoyed a nature walk around Marsden a couple of weeks ago, walking up to the Butterley and Blakeley reservoirs and making the most of the Spring sunshine and the outdoors by taking a picnic lunch☀️
We hope the warm weather comes back again soon! 🙏🏽

CLEAR MT Digital launch podcast

A series of co-produced podcasts was unveiled this week, when men from Men’s Talk Digital announced their premiere at the annual showreel event.

Chris Nicholson, a member of the group explained “The idea for the podcasts developed during a lively breakfast at a local café, where several MTD members realised that the discussions they were having and the way they were sharing their experiences, could be helpful and interesting to others who may be struggling with their mental health”.

The men decided to involve other members of Men’s Talk and Men’s Talk Digital and use the opportunity as an introduction to the world of podcasting.

Chris continued “The group’s message is simple; we want men to feel able to speak openly and honestly about their mental health and “Check It Out.”

The first episode is now available on You Tube: https://youtu.be/fldtF5vlmfg

We’re really proud to share that our recent five‑week community quilt project at The Fields @ Manorfield has come to an end — and the finished quilt looks fantastic. Thirteen local residents helped plan, design and sew it, and it’s now on display at Field Lane I & N School for everyone to enjoy.

People told us how much they enjoyed meeting others, having a chat, learning something new and taking a bit of time for themselves. It’s been a lovely project to run, and we’re so grateful to everyone who took part.

We’re also pleased to say that new FREE wellbeing sessions start again in April, and everyone aged 18+ living locally is welcome to join us.
