Dementia Action Week (18–24 May 2026)

Did you know that 1 in 3 people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime? Dementia Action Week is a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and highlight the support available for people living with dementia and their carers.

At CLEAR, we offer a range of supportive sessions designed to encourage connection, confidence, and wellbeing:

💙CST (Cognitive Stimulation Therapy)
This six-week course is for people living with a diagnosis of dementia. Sessions include interactive activities and themed discussions, offering a chance to reminisce and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Carers are welcome to attend for additional support.
* Referrals can be made via the Memory Clinic, or you can contact CLEAR directly to access further support.
💙All Together Group
A welcoming group focused on stimulating the mind and lifting spirits through puzzles, games, creative activities, and team challenges.
Open to all CLEAR clients, including those living with dementia, and designed to boost memory, confidence, and connection.

Life gets busy, and it’s easy to push things aside, but your mental health matters. Rest matters. Talking things through matters.

You don’t have to have everything together all the time. Be kind to yourself, and don’t be afraid to reach out—whether that’s to a friend, a colleague, or a professional.

We’re all human, and none of us are meant to go through things alone 💙

Celebrating the last few months at CLEAR 💜

As we look back on January to March, we just wanted to pause and share some of what’s been happening along the way.

From co‑producing our Sleep Workshop with someone who’s walked the journey with us, to enjoying one‑off events that brought a bit of light to cold winter days (the organ concert was a definite favourite!), it’s been a really special few months.
We’ve also loved working alongside brilliant partners – including a wonderful International Women’s Day event at the Women’s Centre – and hearing honest, powerful feedback from the people who come through our doors. Your words remind us why this work matters.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of it, in big ways and small. Here’s to inspiring hope, inspiring change, and continuing to do this work together 💫
