From Cripple to Yorkshire Warrior… and Beyond
About 10 years ago, my story looked very different—but just as defining.
I’d been left on crutches after a having the children. I was physically broken, in pain, and unsure of what my body could ever do again.
But through sheer grit, discipline, and hours of pushing through, I went from being crippled to completing the Yorkshire Warrior challenge—a full-body, mud-splattered, strength-testing event I never thought possible.
I used to call myself “From Cripple to Yorkshire Warrior”—and I wore that title with pride.
Back then, I believed health was all about the workout you crushed and the food you tracked. I thought if I could just eat right and move more, I’d be well.
And for a while, it worked. But it wasn’t long before I hit rock bottom again—this time not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
That’s when I realised:
True wellness isn’t just about what you eat or how you move.
It’s about your thoughts, your beliefs, your relationships, your purpose, your rest, your faith, your nervous system—your whole self.
That’s where Wellness 360 came in.
It gave me language for what I was experiencing and a framework to rebuild—body, mind, and spirit. It taught me that healing isn’t linear, and it doesn’t come from just one area of life—it comes from alignment across all of them.
Today, that’s the foundation of the work I do. And it’s what I bring into every offer, every conversation, every space I hold.
I no longer strive to just be a warrior—I strive to be anchored.
And that’s why I created The Anchored Circle—a free space where I share my ongoing journey, offer coaching tools, mindset shifts, faith-led encouragement, and holistic support for women ready to come home to themselves.
