𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Council budget approved, securing vital investment. I also did a fire walk for The Kirkwood (still not sure which was scarier!) 📈🔥
𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹: The Light opened in Huddersfield — a brilliant new cinema in the heart of town! 🍿
𝗠𝗮𝘆: Dalton Bank Road finally reopened after 2 years, and Cllr Munir Ahmed became Deputy Mayor! 🚧🥳
𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲: Woven in Moldgreen + a fantastic volunteer celebration hosted by Munir and I! 🧶🎉

💜 Wize Women: Launching Our First Mental Health Group! 💜

We are so proud to announce the launch of the Wize Women Mental Health Support Group—a safe and empowering space for connection, understanding, and healing.

Our Inaugural Session: Domestic Violence Awareness
For our first critical discussion, we are honored to partner with West Yorkshire Police to address the serious issue of domestic violence.

Date: This Wednesday
Topic: Understanding Domestic Violence, Safety Planning, and Support Resources.

What to Expect: Representatives from West Yorkshire Police will share vital information, answer questions, and discuss the pathways to safety and support available in our community.

Your well-being is our priority. This session is designed to offer practical guidance and a supportive environment for anyone who needs it. You do not have to go through this alone.
