Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lockwood Pharmacy will be closing at 6:00 PM on Friday, 20th March, instead of our usual 9:00 PM.
For anyone requiring pharmacy services after 6:00 PM, Greenhead Pharmacy, Tesco Pharmacy, and Asda Pharmacy will be open until their regular closing times.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

We’ve just received this beautiful thank you card from one of our patients and it’s honestly made our day here at Lockwood Pharmacy. 🥰
They took the time to write in and share how our team went the extra mile to help during a really worrying time with their epilepsy medication, and how much it meant to be listened to, reassured and sorted out quickly.

🚧 Road and Pathway Works Outside Lockwood Pharmacy – We’re Still Open! 🚧
Please be aware that there are major road and pathway works taking place right outside our pharmacy. We want to reassure all our patients that Lockwood Pharmacy remains open as usual throughout the works.
When visiting us, please take extra care around the work area, especially near the large machinery operating on both the footpath and the road. The workmen may not always see pedestrians when reversing or moving equipment.
If you’re unsure how to safely access our entrance, don’t hesitate to ask one of the workmen for assistance — they’ll be happy to help you reach us safely.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while these works are taking place. Your safety is our priority, and we look forward to seeing you as usual at Lockwood Pharmacy.

Urgent Notice
Lockwood Pharmacy is experiencing another internet outage due to the ongoing roadworks outside, which has now happened four times this month and is causing significant disruption to our services. This means there are problems downloading electronic prescriptions, processing electronic payments, and it’s also affecting our phone lines.
Service Impact
We are currently unable to reliably access electronic prescriptions or accept card payments, and our phone lines may not be working as usual. This disruption could lead to delays in dispensing medication and handling patient queries.
What Patients Should Do
Please avoid visiting or calling the pharmacy unless absolutely necessary while these issues persist. For anything urgent, staff will do their best to assist at the front desk. Thank you for understanding and for your patience during these ongoing challenges.

We’ve been notified today that the manufacturers will significantly increase the wholesale cost of our weight management products. As a result, our prices will also rise, starting from September 2025.

We want to make sure you’re well informed about recent changes to car parking around Lockwood Pharmacy—so you can avoid any unnecessary charges or inconvenience!

Here’s a quick guide to the car parks:

🔴 RED AREA:
This is a private car park operated by the Premier Shop. NEW CHARGES ARE IN EFFECT!
If you park here, you MUST enter your vehicle’s registration plate on the computer inside the Premier Shop—otherwise, you may receive a penalty charge notice.
Please note: This car park and the new charges are NOT linked to Lockwood Pharmacy in any way.

🟣 PURPLE AREA (behind the pharmacy):
This car park is ONLY for Pharmacy staff and delivery vehicles.
Patients are kindly asked NOT to use this area—space is very limited, and there is a risk your vehicle could become trapped by other delivery or staff vehicles.

🟢 GREEN AREA:
This is the FREE Kirklees Council car park—open for everyone to use!
We recommend using this car park for your visit.

Some of our patients have already been caught out by the new charges in the private car park (RED area), so please be extra careful where you park.
