“Even More Forwards”
That one cue makes actually load the position.
After multiple ankle surgeries, we’re building ankle range while re-training the inside-ankle ‘brakes’ so the foot rolls in slowly.
We start on the outer edge (weight through little toe), then bring his weight even more forwards with the heel heavy.
As his nervous system fatigues his go-to cheats are to lift the heel and drift the knee in. We’re chasing progress, not perfection!
The shaking you see is normal - that’s his body working hard in a position it hasn’t used for a while!
This is just a small part of our session and rehab back to top performance in his ultra running!
