Through mindfulness, EFT, Reiki, and EMMETT techniques, I help restore balance, calm, and self-compassion, guiding each client toward healing and reconnection.

One of the most rewarding parts of my practice is working with horses. These sensitive, intelligent beings often carry both physical tension and emotional imprints from past experiences and they respond beautifully to a gentle, respectful approach.

I use a blend of EMMETT Technique, Reiki, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to support horses’ wellbeing. Each session begins with quiet connection, taking the time to meet the horse where they are, building trust before moving into any hands-on work.

Reiki offers a calming energetic space, EMMETT provides gentle muscle release, and EFT allows us to address emotional layers, especially for horses who’ve been through trauma or stress. Every session is guided by the horse’s response, allowing them to lead the pace and depth of the work.

It’s a privilege to witness these moments of release, relaxation, and often transformation.

Welcome to my page! I thought I would give a wee introduction to new followers and further insight to all the followers who have been following me for EIGHT YEARS now!

I am Gillian. I live in the North East of Scotland in rural Aberdeenshire. I work online as well as here at my yurt, so distance is not an obstacle to us working together!

I’ve walked through tough times, both in my childhood and in my adult years. Those moments didn’t break me… they built me. They shaped my resilience, sharpened my perspective and taught me the power of standing back up, again and again. My Dad called me thrawn which I still always take as a compliment!

My WHY comes from that journey.

🔥 To turn my experiences into strength, not scars
🔥 To use the resilience I earned the hard way
🔥 To support others who feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed
🔥 To show that healing and growth are possible, no matter where you start

Today, I use my skills, my story and my hard-won wisdom to lift others up because no one should have to navigate their storms alone.

This is my purpose. This is my WHY. 💛

The 16 Guidelines program provides a simple, robust and flexible framework for developing emotional resilience, empathy, compassion and transformative change, suitable for both educational curricula and for personal and professional development. If you’re seeking practical tools to bring about positive change in your life, this experiential course is for you.

You’ll explore the 16 Guidelines framework to deepen your experience in mindfulness and resilience, as an embodied practice. Drawing on proven techniques from positive psychology, social justice practices, neuroscience and centuries-old Eastern philosophy, you’ll develop an ethical, holistic approach to self-improvement and cultural change.

What you’ll learn:
