I’m now an approved provider with the Birth Trauma Association.

If you’ve experienced a difficult birth and are feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, you’re not alone. Birth trauma can be incredibly isolating, but recovery is possible.

In my work as a trauma therapist, I help women process their experiences, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their little ones through approaches like EMDR and art psychotherapy. Healing isn’t just about reducing the pain—it’s about finding joy again and nurturing that special bond with your baby.

High cortisol levels? 😰 we got you! ❤️

Our nervous system is constantly processing stress, whether it’s from day to day life or deeper emotional struggles. When our nervous system is overwhelmed, it can lead to feelings of anxiety, tension, or disconnection. Our cortisol levels can be high and we can experience many physical ailments and illnesses 🤒 EFT (what im doing in this photo!) works by sending calming signals to the brain, specifically targeting the amygdala and hippocampus—areas involved in emotional processing and stress response. By tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on negative emotions, we can effectively reduce stress and promote a state of relaxation.

The beauty of EFT lies in its simplicity. It’s an easy-to-learn skill that anyone can use, anytime and anywhere. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, EFT provides a quick and effective way to regulate your nervous system and restore balance.

I’m using our Nervous System Regulation Workbook in this demonstration, we designed this workbook to be filled with practical exercises, including EFT, and insights to help you regulate your nervous system. This workbook is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills you need to support your mental and emotional well-being.

We’ve recently updated many of our resources to ensure they remain evidenced based, ethical and grounded in neuroscience. We focus on quality over quantity and only offer tools we use as registered psychotherapists.
