With the countdown to Christmas now on, we’re reminding everyone to order any repeat prescriptions early, so you have the medication you need over the festive period.

🎄 Pharmacy opening hours will change over Christmas and New Year, so please make sure you request your medication in plenty of time for pharmacy teams to process your order.

You can order your prescriptions easily:

✔️ By handing paper requests into the surgery

Flu cases are higher than they have ever been at this time of year.

An average of 2,660 patients per day were in a hospital bed with flu last week. That’s enough flu patients each day to fill more than 3 whole hospital trusts.

If you haven’t already, and you’re eligible, get your flu vaccine.

The flu jab reduces your risk of becoming seriously ill this Christmas, and helps protect those around you.

Book via your GP, pharmacy or the NHS App.

Please be aware of our bank holiday closures:

💊 Please order repeat prescriptions in good time, as pharmacies and GP services will have reduced hours over the bank holidays.
We recommend allowing at least 3 working days for processing.

📞 Phone Line Issues at the Practice

We’re currently experiencing problems with our phone lines and are unable to receive incoming calls. Our team is working with our phone provider to resolve this as quickly as possible.

👉 You can still contact us via Rapid Health, and our reception team is available at the front desk for anyone attending the practice.
⚠️ If you need urgent medical advice while our phones are down, please call NHS 111.
🚨 In a medical emergency, always call 999.

To help us manage demand and keep our reception area running smoothly, we encourage all patients to use our Rapid Health online system 💻 to book appointments and submit requests.

Completing it at home is often quicker and more convenient, and allows you to provide information in your own time and in the privacy of your home.

Please use the Rapid Health system whenever you are able to.
If you are genuinely unable to use it, please contact the practice and our team will be happy to assist you ☎️.
