Life as a Celebrant varies every day 💗
In the last week I have

~ met a family to hear all about their loved one who has passed away
~ met a couple who are getting married at the end of the month
~ arranged a meeting with a couple who are renewing their vows in 6 weeks time
~hosted a zoom training session as a guest tutor for a celebrant training team
~ written the funeral ceremony -almost, that will be sent to the family tomorrow for them to approve / tweak it

Not bad for a part time role 💗
I love being a Celebrant and supporting local families

Today we celebrate Mother’s Day, a day to honour the love, care and quiet strength that mothers and mother figures bring into our lives 💐

For many, it’s a joyful day filled with cards, flowers, phone calls and time together. A chance to say thank you for the countless ways a mum shows love.

But I’m also mindful that today can feel different for many people. For those whose mums are no longer here in the physical world, Mother’s Day can bring memories, reflection, and perhaps a gentle ache in the heart.

As a celebrant, I’m often reminded how powerful those memories are, the stories we share, the lessons we carry, and the love that continues long after a life has ended 💜

So today, whether you’re celebrating with your mum, remembering her, or thinking of someone who was like a mother to you, may the love you shared still surround you.

Thinking of all mums and all those who hold them in their hearts today 💖

I'm very thankful to have my Mum still here with us and so many special ladies who are always there, there are also quite a few missing - they will always be remembered 💞

Over the last few months I've had so many conversations about music ... music for funerals especially.

🎼Do you have your songs already?
🎼Have you shared your choices or left it written somewhere obvious ?
🎼Why did you pick those songs?
🎼Do you know that if you talk about songs or a funeral it won't jinx anything

Would you like any help to get this all sorted? let me know and I'll see how I can help 💗

This lady is amazing, she is our modern day poet who brings poems to life, shares real life experiences and they make sense.
I hope I can give them justice when I read them, I don't have Donna's soothing voice but I do love to read them and share with those who need to hear them x

February is the month of love 🤍
And love isn’t just about romance.

As a celebrant, I have the honour of helping people celebrate all love,
love that has shaped us,
love that fills our lives right now,
and love that will carry us into the future.

From heartfelt farewells to joyful beginnings, every story matters, every bond deserves to be honoured, and every ceremony can be as unique as the love behind it.

If you'd like me to help guide you at times of sadness or joy please drop me a message or text 07851 853659

I haven’t posted much on my celebrant page lately but I have to share today’s story
Today I helped members of my extended family to say a fond farewell to a special man, Clive.
The farewell was planned by his family, just how he and they wanted it.
We met at his local, his family, his friends and work mates, I shared his story then opened the mic to others.
We heard so many brilliant stories, memories and dedications - thank you everyone for joining me.
There are so many more stories to share and memories to store, keep saying his name in the same tone as you always did, he will live on in your hearts forever ❤️
