April is stress awareness month & I haven’t posted anything about stress- here’s why.
I’ve been there too…
Waking up as exhausted as I went to bed & dragging myself through the day.
The low mood , making everything feel so much harder.
Feelings of : overwhelm, disconnected & irritable ( sure my husband will vouch for the last one 🫣) generally feeling not like myself.
This is the effects of a long period of stress & worry & how it manifested in me.
It doesn’t just sit in your mind- it shows up in the body too.
Low energy/ fatigue.
Tension.
Poor sleep.
Hormonal imbalance.
Breakouts in skin.
My wake up call - I needed to make some changes before burn out got a grip.
I’ve slowed down & cut back- said no more.
Stepped back from posting on social media.
Been gentle with myself & my energy.
If this feels familiar - don’t wait for it to get worse.
