This was a pretty special weekend for EUSPC. We are 42 pony club members strong, and whilst that might sound a lot there are many pony clubs out there with triple that number. So when we decided to throw caution to the wind and host an event after 10 years of hiatus, who would have thought it would have been a success! It was AMAZING! 130 dressage entries over two days, two warm up arenas and two dressage arenas. We had to build all of this with the help of RG and their amazing team. The sun shone on both days and it flowed like clock work, moving from one warm up to another then into the arena, framed by shrubs and plants loaned to us by Oliver’s Plants. We had prizes from Bailey’s, Ingatestone, Broomfield Equestrian, TRM, Crawfords and our beautiful rosettes and sashes sponsored by Paton and Lee. We held five podium prize giving ceremonies with our own Essex Union South Novice team coming 🥉
We are so thankful for the hard work, and our members attending and supporting even though they weren’t competing. Well done to all our competitors, Florence 4th and Emme 15th in the prelim.
