Wow wow wow, my beautiful princess is 7 today!!! 🎉🥳

7 years ago I fell in love for the first time ever, I changed who I am as a person the moment I held you on my chest for the very first time. And the moment I squealed with excitement when I noticed me and you both had matching long 2nd toes🥹🤣😍

You are my best friend, my little soul sister, my little boss, my darling girl and everything In between. Seeing you grow every single day into the amazing, beautiful souled little human you are is the most amazing thing ever and I am so proud of who you are as a person.

I always thought just being me and you would be hard but I was wrong, we are the bestest of friends not just mummy and daughter, I am forever grateful of that 🩷

Just a little update on how my princess is 🩷

She’s doing amazing, so so well, she’s now in year 1 and loving it 🥰

We had a review recently and thankfully, physio have discharged her on the condition she keeps up leg exercises and doesn’t over do it. She had a review about her eyes which we’ve recently been told she now has a stigmatism in her left eye and.. she can see better without her prescription glasses than with 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I’m not sure how it’s like the girl is full of magic 😂 but also her oncology team are super happy with her and will soon be going to 6 monthly reviews which I’m extremely nervous about but it’s good news as they are so happy with her progress 🩷

We hope everyone is having a lovely weekend as Ireland is now off to her first Banger racing world final and is so excited to meet some of her family and followers off her page😍 my girl is keeping up the family hobby 😂🏁🩷

Just an update as I realised I haven’t actually updated on Irelands progress for a long time! 😳

She is doing so amazingly well, she has recently started physiotherapy for the pains she get in her legs and so far so good! We haven’t had many complaints of pain so we have our 🤞🏼 crossed that the more physio she has the better she will get! Her doctor is so happy with her, she is growing beautifully, she has achieved so many personal milestones in the past few months that we didn’t think she would reach atleast yet and it shows to us as her family and to her doctors how well she really is doing💗

The only thing concerning recently is that we were informed that we can’t have Ireland in the sun for very long as it’s quite dangerous for her to be in the heat for a long time as it can cause her to be at high risk of relapse due to her cells being so damaged. However, she is looking forward to days out, lots of pool time, and fun days with her family and friends we just have to be extra cautious!

We haven’t actually had any scans since January 2021 but as you’re aware Ireland has soooo many urine tests that tells us whether their is any cells growing or not, so we are very lucky knowing that Irelands level are still low! She saw her consultant from addenbrookes not long ago and he said that she is doing so well it’s unbelievable, it’s amazing to hear this from someone who saw her at her very lowest! 💗

Today we celebrate… Massive milestone!

How on earth did we get here already! The big 5 🥳😍 5 years of loving you, 5 years of being my little best friend, 5 years of being the most bravest & strongest little princess I know. I am so proud of the little girl you’ve become🥹 I can only imagine now the woman you will become one day. You are sassy, loving, bad tempered 🤣🤣 but oh so perfect and this whole day is about you. We hope you enjoy your party my baby girl 🎉 🎈 🎊

A massive appreciation post to Make-A-Wish UK!!

Ireland had so many options to chose from for her make a wish, and she chose to go back to broad oak farm! Ireland and animals? It’s a win 🥹😂 we had a week full of fun, laughter and most importantly family time. She got to feed the animals daily, walk the ponies! Sit in the machinery and have a lot of fun on the farm. Our wish granter Shannon Kelly was absolutely phenomenal!🥰 she went above and beyond to make sure Irelands wish was fulfilled and that it was extra special for not only Ireland but her family too!🥰 the week was so special just to get to spend time with each other as a big family. We had Irelands cousins come up during the daytime to see the animals and go round the farm which she loved too😍 Make A Wish are absolutely unreal and we as a family are so so grateful for them allowing us this time away and for Ireland to go to her farm house just one more time!🥰 thank you!!!💗
